Easy to get in once we’d found the right door. Our key was on the table as promised. We’d booked half-board not realising that the restaurant was closed on a Sunday evening. But they booked us a meal at the nearby Hirsch Hotel and that was gorgeous. The breakfast was very good too. We’d definitely stay here again. Very little

The rooms were good, all the facilities you need. The bathrooms were renovated nicely. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay; happy with the selection, especially muesli & nuts. Coffee not great. We were happy they could still serve us a drink in the eve (10pm). The layout of the entry was a little confusing, with the entrance to the restaurant, which we took required us to walk through the restaurant with our luggage. Later, we saw that there was another (hard-to-find) entrance. Breakfast wasn't really worth the add-on despite its convenience. The atmosphere, while nicely done with Christmas decorations, still feels somewhat bland and lacking.

The room was large and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful - they located a pair of shoes my wife had left behind and mailed them to relatives of ours in Germany where we were able to pick them up.

Booking on same day possible till 22:00 and prompt response from the reception. With instructions on how to arrive after 22:00 The extra 3rd bed was a ‘portable one’. It was ok but not as comfy and less tall as a regular bed
