Hotel am Stadtrand

This very nice small hotel was a surprise. I booked only an hour before arriving. The room was very clean. I was traveling on a budget, so reserved a twin room. The room was very small, but also very comfortable. The bathroom was small but perfect This is the first hotel in all my European travels that had a wash cloth in the bathroom. The young lady at the desk was so nice and helpful!! This was a PERFECT overnight rest stop!!

It was well located for our purposes. The room is a little too small. Breakfast was adequate but nothing extravagant.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was okay, but not great. The location is easy to find and hotel has a parking, which is a plus. Room was a good size and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was average, nothing to write about. The main problem was the bed. The linen was old and the mattress and the pillow were not comfortable at all. I had trouble sleeping and woke up multiple times.

Substandard breakfast Reception was NOT available 24 hrs as stated in the ad. Room temperature 27degrees and no AC. Smelly smelly smelly bathroom. Unfriendly manager / owner. Extremely loud, as the hotel directly lies in the landing zone of the stuttgart airport. Additional noise from adjacent industrial park and main road. Upon arrival the reception was not occupied, and after several phone calls a room key was dropped from a vending machine / bot, and - unbelievable - the room only had a single bed, although I clearly booked for 2 adults. My wife almost fainted. I was shocked and dismayed.
