Staff was friendly. Poor sound insulation which meant I heard the trains every time they passed. Typically hard Japanese pillows.

A single room with everything you need. There is an ice maker and a microwave near the elevator. From JR Otsu Station to the hotel, I can find the FOODS MARKET where I can grab breakfast before heading out for sightseeing and dinner when I return to the hotel. 1. The view from my window!! 2. The hotel is quite far from JR Otsu Station, with a slope and rough sidewalks, making it a bit difficult to drag luggage

It is okay. I have booked smoking room by mistake.(my own) as soon as I entered the room I called front as if I could swap the room to non smoking room. But they said I had to cancel smoking room (it means I have to be charged cancel fee) and rebook non smoking room. So I put up with terrible smell..
