Good sized apartment equipped with everything you need. Easy access to the train station. Thoughtful gifts from host were a lovely touch and easy to contact. Great value stay.

When I was younger, I have always put "10" on booking (if there was a bed and a shower someone nearby). Then I became older and started to value comfort, and my average rating reduced to "7". But this stay deserves 12/10. RyumaHirai (the host) was super helpful and very nice, he assisted us in everything! Check-in process was super-easy, and instructions were clear. Although the studio is not very big, there is everything you need. There is a small yard if you want to spend some time alone, and (not relevant to me) you can smoke there. If I ever come back to Otsu (which is likely, as the town is very nice) I will be happy to stay there once again.
