A quiet area on Oyster. pond. A car is a must for getting to the beach. The pool was lovely and the view to the water was so nice. Our room was sparkling clean and spacious. Delphine is so enthusiastic and truly enjoys her guests. A wonderful stay!!! I can’t think of anything!

Everything! I shouldn't say this because I kind of want to be selfish and keep this place a secret, but the apartment was so nice - lots of space, clean, comfortable, with everything you need in the cabinets, etc... Delphine was the best host! Beautiful patio, pool, walking distance to some delicious restaurants, and short distance to some of the best beaches on the island. When I go back, I will only stay here. Nothing. Everything was great!

exceptional staff - like having a personal tour advisor, who was patient with our desire to practice french! the room was efficiently laid out with a nice view of the ocean. the wifi wasn't reliable initially but Delphine helped us get better access there is no ocean view from the pool, but the pool was clean and private

The quiet location, pool, patio, nicely decorated, bed, shower, close grocery store and beach not a far walk. Even had a blender for tropical drinks! Nothing!

Seasonal restaurants not open because they were closed for summer.

Quiet area without noice, the bathroom is separate ftom the toilet (but the toilet does not have a sink) The room has no window, only a patio dooe without mosquito net, so there is no natural bentilation. We had very big problem with the internet which interrupted very often and did not work for minute or even longer. The main internet in the room only worked for the first 2-3 days, than it didn’t anymore. Only pool internet worked, luckily we were near the pool so we had a strong signal.

Delphine and the entire staff at the Colombus Residence were excellent, always available and so helpful, The apartment was fantastic - living space was great for us (just 2 of us, but easily 4). We had a kitchenette with two hobs, a large fridge, microwave, etc. Bathroom/shower was clean, and a separate room for the toilet. The outdoor patio overlooking pool and Oyster Bay (sunrise) was huge. We walked everyday around the area (some steep hills) and loved the Bread and Butter store as well as the local restaurants (BZM, Oasis and Mama Pizza). We also walked to Galion Beach (approx 35 mins along the coast path - enter opposite BZM and past old Coralita resort and around the headland then wade across a small channel - knee/thigh deep - to Galion Beach). This is a beautiful, quiet beach and out favorite on Sint Maarten. Every day we walked to the French Quarter (along Rue de Carolita about an hour) where we got public buses to all major destinations on the island (Marigot, Grand Case, Pinel Island/Cul-de-Sac, Philipsburg) We never waited more than 1-3 minutes for a bus anywhere on the island. If you are a family and/or don’t/can’t walk then strongly recommend renting a car or using a taxi to French Quarter then get a bus. Oyster Pond area is one of the more isolated parts of St. Martin. Remember, the island is small - 7 x 8 miles but Oyster Pond is 2+ miles off the N7, the main road that circumnavigates the island. This is not far in the great scheme of things but the terrain (very undulating) makes walks more strenuous. As such, many staying here would prefer the flexibility of having a car. We got by without one but many travelers (e.g., families and less mobile) would have a more enjoyable stay if they had a car.

Plenty of space. Clean in a very quiet location with views of the water. Perfect place to relax. The owner is super nice and always available via WhatsApp There are only few places to eat and see nearby being right across into the French side but we had a rental car so wasn’t much of an issue
