Fitch Hotel

The suite was very well designed. The staff was more than helpful at checking in and checking out. The pool was too shallow and hot. For such a nice hotel you would expect more out of the pool, considering the competing hotels in the area. It wasn’t deep or refreshing. It was honestly a little dirty.

The room was spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. It was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere. The rooftop pool and views were stunning but the pool area is very small, so if you want to use it plan on coming very early. Overall, I had a great stay. The only minor downside was that the breakfast selection could have offered a bit more variety.

Specious room and good location. Parking can be difficult next to the hotel on some days with the opposite pool hotel music apparent until late evening.

I stayed at this hotel just over a year ago. I was really looking forward to staying with them again because of the excellent previous experience. Unfortunately, this time the experience was so disappointing I will not be staying with them again - see more below. The food at the breakfast was good, but not as good as the last time. We paid for a romantic package that did come with nice champagne and macaroni and had a nicely folded towel swans, but included only plastic rose petals instead of any actual flowers. "Quiet room" as facing the inner court, but we still had to use ear plugs because of how loud it gets during the night. Beds and bathroom are good. To list only the examples that I remember from the top of my mind: the cleanliness was not at the previous level, there was constant smell coming from sinks in the bathroom that was filling up the room, the cleaning staff didn't close our doors properly and the room was left open and unattended for hours, the cleaning staff never refilled the liquid soap so we ran out of it after 5 days and had to switch to using our own from then on, the cleaning staff never refilled our water, so we had to bring our own every day, breakfast was taking such a long time each day, that after first two days we started skipping breakfast because we didn't have enough time to wait (15+ minutes wait time for a simple toast with eggs arriving as the first guest, and the only guest for 5+ minutes at breakfast), on one occasion we requested breakfast box that simply wasn't prepared on the next day and we had to arrange breakfast outside the hotel despite paying for it, on one occasion we asked for additional duvet, and they did not deliver either that evening or the entire next day, so we had to go ask for it again the next day. The list goes on, minor issues with the AC, noise, etc.

The terrace was tiny, without a chair to sit on.

The room has a certain smell, but it could be resolvers by opening a window for a while.

Breakfast was good. There was no variety, everyday it was similar breakfast. The water wouldn't drain properly in the shower.

In a busy areas with a lot of construction. Didn't feel very safe at night. Out door pool was super cold and small

We stayed for 7 days in Fitch hotel. Everything was perfect, from clean and well designed rooms, great and kind staff members, great location, to great food variety.

Modern design, comfortable beds, very nice staff at the reception, jacuzzi.. Construction works at 7am were waking us up every day, whole st.julian is a big construction site, its the place we liked least in Malta..

Our stay was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The location was perfect. We truly felt relaxed and can’t wait to return again very soon.

Amazing Hotel, Brand New Property

Great hotel, with a good gym, wifi works great and it’s thankfully at a more calm street plus in walking distance to bus stops, restaurants and bars

We liked the rooftop pool and the location. The room was amazing. So much room and loved having the sink outside of the toilet area! For a couple, the shower was a fun thing as you can see the silhouette of your partner showering from the bedroom. When we checked in, we were told that the pool would be out of order. We didn’t like that since we specifically booked the hotel for the pool. But after expressing our concerns, the hotel manager was amazing and got everything sorted out for us, and confirmed that he just learned the pool was working after all. He went above and beyond for us and we really appreciated it.

Staff in the daily restaurant are rude and unpolite. Too small breakfast portions and offerings. Too small rooftop pool with sundecks, which have only 10 resting places, so you need to wake up early and fight with other guests for space.
