This was a perfect place for me. Price is reasonable while room is very nice, located central to all sites, friendly helpful staff, and good breakfast. Nothing.

The hotel is exceptionally located in the historical centre which makes it nice for exploring. I also like the fact it is a grand old building which makes it seem nicer and cooler. Sadly, it underwhelmed and management just didn't seem to be on the ball. Honestly, I was underwhelmed. The staff literally placed my room right next to the elevator despite a note in my booking saying to place me as far from the elevators as possible (I am a ilght sleeper). After that, I was "upgraded" to a room with such a tiny shower, it was literally a wrap around plastic screen of less than a metre square. I could only spin in place under an anemic showerhead. And the breakfasts were sparse and not so great compared to what I had expected from other Italian hotels to that point. In general though, I just felt it could have been so much more and really the hotel needs a bit of work - but could be utterly awesome if they were invested in making it much nicer (also, another weird thing - a restaurant for the hotel that never seemed open). In any case, it never felt like a 4 star hotel in my opinion and was a surprisingly underwhelming stay amongst all the places I stayed in Italy.

Close location to all main sights Finding hotel by car

Staff was very friendly. They made every effort to satisfy your needs. Room was very small. Not a lot of options for people with dietary needs, vegan.

Beautiful historic hotel, great location, the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in Italy and a lovely breakfast It's such a small thing to note, having a few steam irons for guest use so you don't have to go up to the very hot laundry room with no air conditioning and iron clothes in a hallway

We have stayed at the MT over the years and would never consider another place in Padova. With cool renovations since our last visit, it is the perfect place in the historic center. Head to the bathroom when the lights are out and a sensor turns on guide lights. The breakfast buffet could include nuts and seeds for cereal. Also honey.
