The Respite Bed and Breakfast

I got the bed but no breakfast to be had. This place was essentially self service with no host or staff available or apparent during my stay. Nearly a week from my stay and still no response or resolution. Had to call them again to get any acknowledgement of the missing half of their name. The facility itself was very nice.

Clean, safe, great sheets. I had everything I needed in my room. Not expecting to have to climb a flight of stairs. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Good location for historic district. I would recommend. Never saw any staff. But that was explained when I made the reservation.

Exceptionally clean and great breakfast and kind staff. I will be staying here again when I visit in November. It is the cleanest place I have ever stayed with great attention to detail. The building runs a bit cold but that is better than being too hot!!

The location was awesome. The check in was so easy and everything was explained wonderfully. My room was so cold and I did not see a controller.

They were very attentive. I had a small issue and it was resolved immediately with exceptional customer service going above and beyond! Excellent place and very quiet.

Quick stop for just an overnight stay and was close to work. Easy access getting into the room and close to local eateries.

A nice supply of bath, hand towels and wash cloths. Plenty of K cup coffee choices for the keurig. Would be nice to have a tea selection also. The grounds and house are well maintained. Loved the different sitting areas/rooms, beautifully decorated. Breakfast was decent every morning with a few choices (scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, yogurt, blueberries, granola). Would be nice if it was changed up at least every other day, maybe alternate the eggs with pancakes or waffles and sausage with bacon and different fruit options. It was nice to have the choice of a voucher to use for breakfast also. Had some delish pastries at Kirchhoff's. We look forward to another stay next time in town.

Communication and accommodation were both great

Check in was easy, room was clean and felt very home like. All though we didn't eat breakfast it smelled delicious and they provided us with vouchers for the local favorites. Overall 10/10 will stay again.

Easy to find - area was safe - elevator for second floor

Breakfast was good and enjoyed the company of the other guests. The cook also was friendly and informative about the area. Thr bathtub anti-slip was worn away and did not feel secure while showering.

Very quiet and relaxing

No staff onsite but that didn’t cause any issues. We enjoyed our stay.
