Lovely people and environment. So peaceful

We stayed at the resort for 5 nights. We liked the location a lot as it was only a few miles out of town and we had a motorbike to explore all of beautiful Pai. The cabins were cute and the pool was really nice and a great place to hang out in the afternoon. We would stay there again The property and resort felt a bit outdated and could have been more taken care of. And no matter how many times the staff tried to fix it, there wasn’t any hot water.

nothing Beware the property does not match the photos displayed online. We were told the photos online date back to before covid. There is no lake, the gardens are untidy and unmanaged/scruffy. Despite a note in the room, there is no one available 24 hours a day, even on the phone number left. The staff only speak Thai, not English as per the advert. Our bathroom was disgusting, the toilet leaked, the shower was blocked up, and the shower curtain mouldy. We didn’t get a refill on shampoo except when asking. Also didn’t have clean glasses for brushing teeth (1 day out of 3 maybe). Extremely poor standard for the price. For the price paid, we expected more, at any least, what was advertised on booking.com and Baan Krating's own website. Baan Rating wouldn't offer ANY sort of compensation, and basically didn't want to know. We booked a deluxe pavilion double room, see for yourself, this is NOT deluxe!

Lovely peaceful resort. Very lovely bathrooms. Great hot water. Fridge and kettle for tea in the mornings. Gorgeous pool and a peaceful oasis. Very quiet at night and exceptionally friendly staff. ?. Loved the short walk into town in the mornings.

Quiet location Bed was very hard, lots of dust around and dirty air-conditioner. Television but not working.. pool but not clean so you couldn’t swim in it.

Beautiful place. Very calm. Amazing pool area. Room was also lovely. Location was a bit out of the way. (20/25 minute walk to the closest shop). The room was FREEZING. At night. They should provide extra bedding. As we actually got sick the next day.

gigantic bed, very comfortable, nice bathroom, incredible shower (one of the best in thailand), beautiful swimming pool, nice grounds / resort, peaceful place. I'd return there again for sure. Nice outdoor terrace to sit in the afternoon once it had gotten cooler. wifi didn't work for me (not an issue as I tethered) but did for my partner so perhaps just my laptop, and a hammock or more comfy outdoor chairs could be a plus - but not a complaint as they had some chairs and it was comfortable enough.

In nature. Hit shower. Freezing cold. Run down. Ned’s rock hard. No cleaning done each day.
