Bulun Buri Pai Resort

It’s gorgeous, I’ve been coming here on my birthday for about 10 years I think, and I love the views, privacy, the peacefulness. This time I had a friend in my room so I asked for cleaning (usually I don’t require cleaning when I stay) but I just wanted fresh towels and a sweep. I came back from a day out, running through the heavy downpour of rain and mud and found that they didn’t put new towels, or even bother to hang up the used ones (I left them on a chair so they would take them), they didn’t sweep or even wipe off the sink, this small service would be appreciated and expected. So I had to go back out in the dark and downpour through the mud to find staff to get towels and he didn’t know where to find them… Also, we always use the big floating pillows in the pool, this year she said we couldn’t and freaked out when I put them in the pool (what else are they there for?). If those cannot be used, please supply some kind of floating raft or something for the pool. Also the staff was making a big deal that apparently my middle name is not on my booking account, so she said it’s not the same name as my passport and it was a problem. Mind you, I had already paid in full days before checking in and she had my original passport, she couldn’t understand that it was me?? So weird and annoying. And if you think language was the problem, it’s not, I speak fluent Thai and my friend is Shan so we all spoke clearly to each other. The staff was just being so weird and made us uncomfortable.
