THE GARTEN

The property was gorgeous and zen! It’s close to many restaurants in paje. The staff were so kind and thoughtful and always wanted to assist when needed. Nothing. But a full length mirror would be nice.

Hospitality was beyond words could appreciate. The place is absolutely stunning, I mean, it’s as serene as it gets. The Manager Bahar and staff welcome you with the warmest smiles. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. Words don’t do this hidden gem justice. My trip to Zanzibar would not have been complete without my stay here. My only regret is not spending more time here. Please do yourself a favor and book your stay. Also, as a solo female traveler, it was amazing to feel the safety I felt here. They recommended the best places and even arranged my transport to the airport which was very early at 4am. As I left, I saw that they close the entrance and have a guard there. They really go above and beyond in every aspect. Wow. Una maravilla! I can’t think of a single thing that I didn’t like!

The sink drained a bit slowly, and there were occasional power cuts at night, but that’s an island thing.

The Garten Living is a great place to stay in Paje. The staff is super friendly, the room is clean and well maintained. The location is central and near all the hotspots. We loved it.

The decoration and how calm it was ! It didn’t have key access to the room and no iron in the room.

Everything! Especially the: 1. People. They are very kind, hospitable, friendly, helpful… name it. The manager was very hands-on and you can see how she takes care of the people. They helped us with finding transpos and good food aside from their amazing cafe. They have the best coffee and food. Thank you for making our stay amazing! 2. Location. Close to local restaurants, they have their own amazing cafe. Near by hospital and pharmacies as well. And the beach is just walking distance. It’s safe, too. 3. Room. It’s cute. And I mean the cleanliness, the ambience, aesthetically done. so homy. The place is quiet, too. 4. Security. Very safe stay. They have security at night. There are more things to mention. definitely a place to comeback. Thank you Sia, Andy, Angy, Noel Smile and Noel. You are all great! If there is one thing I want I wish they can add in the place is a little fitness area. Just because ai always want to have time to maybe stretch, light liftings, or meditate. Other than that the place is amazing. 99% (I’ll leave they 1% for improvement)

I stayed at The Garten in Paje and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, simple, and decorated in a beautiful boho style, surrounded by greenery that gave it a very relaxing vibe. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind, always ready to help whenever needed. I originally booked for 2 nights but ended up extending my stay to 4 nights because of how cozy and quiet the place was. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the beach and close to several great restaurants. Also they have the best burger in town! I really recommend it

Amazing garden, amazing room. Bedsheets smell really good. They make such delicious burgers it’s a must try. 4mins walk from Paje beach. All the staff were so welcoming. I regretted so much that I didn’t book longer stay

We loved the place! The Real meaning of Home Rooms are clean & neat, and very cozy The bed is very comfortable and soft Coffee is a must try! We’ve tried Cappuccino & Americano. Food is great (breakfast & dinner) you must try Texas burger & Beef Steak and the lime butter fish The whole menu you must to try it Vibes are so cozy over-there & the stuff are very friendly & helpful Warming welcome Overall service is satisfying & we’re going to miss the place & the staff. A heartfelt thanks also goes to Ms. Bahar, the lovely and welcoming manager, who instantly clicked with my wife and made us feel part of the family. The entire staff treated us with genuine kindness and respect, always professional, yet warm and approachable. I’d definitely recommend The Garten. During my stay I had to work, and the place was exactly what I needed—super cozy, stylish rooms, great coffee, nice food menu (I think Eggs Benedict were the best I ever had, and the burgers are great too). They have good WiFi which for me was very important due to work. The mattress was just the right firmness, the AC worked perfectly, and the location is ideal—right in the center of Paje. Plus, the staff were really friendly, and for what you get, it’s great value for money. Would 100% stay again! I loved it all!
