Very disappointing stay. The room was uncomfortable, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, the bed squeaked with every movement, and the pillows were hard. Breakfast was poor, and the hotel doesn’t provide an iron—you have to send your clothes to the laundry and wait for them to be returned after 9:00 a.m. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The bed could be more comfortable and stable, other than that everything was great.

The location was perfect… in the marina with many restaurants within minutes We got a big room upgrade when our AC failed certainly a nice touch Carlos st reception was very helpful The breakfast was very basic and quite the disappointment for what was charged for our room rate for 3 nights Very limited selection compared to other hotels…no fresh fruit, basic sliced bread

This hotel has an amazing location right in front of the port, just a 5 minute walk from Isolotto beach, and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Every evening, there's a lovely market just outside, and on Fridays during the day, a bigger one full of local crafts, clothes, jewelry, and food, such a nice atmosphere! The beds are super comfortable, and while the rooms could use a bit of an update, they still have a charming and authentic feel. One big plus: the hotel has private parking, which is rare and very convenient in Palau. A big thank you to Stephania and Maria Gracia at the reception, they are both adorable and incredibly helpful. The whole staff was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for a relaxed and local Sardinian stay!

We enjoyed our experience from the moment of check- in to our departure. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our Jr. Suite was large with comfortable bedding and plenty of seating with a prominent view of the harbor. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. It was a great way to start the day. The onsight underground parking was well worth the fee. Nothing. It was a flawless stay.

Bed was the best!! Breakfast was fabulous - best we had during 2 weeks in sardinia... Bathroom fixtures were outdated. . . Asked for a room with a view.... We overlooked the parking lot and the garbage area. Disappointing. Paid extra for a room with a view... the harbor was beyond the view of the roof top and the parking lot and was super diaappointing. The worst, however, was the noise of garbage take out and the smell... cant believe we paid extra for a view and noise of garbage pick up

La Vecchia Fonte is well located and some staff of the reception was really nice but with no really good English. There is no variety of food in the breakfast, as well as it is not possible to collect some food before the breakfast starts if you have an early tour arranged. The lady at the kitchen is super nice and friendly. She can cook some pancakes or boiled egg up to your request ! But the one that is in charge of put the food can have a better attitude with the guests.
