Exceptional

Comfortable bed, great position to walk into town to restaurants, marina etc. Parking on the street was fine. Breakfast was a good choice of coffee, tea, juice, pastries, scrambled eggs and ham, cheese, and yoghurt. The host is warm and friendly, making us feel at home straight away. Was lovely to have outside small courtyard off the bedroom to dry clothes or chill. The air conditioner is also good. Nothing

It’s absolutely lovely place - cosy Italian atmosphere, breakfast in a small internal yard with super fresh homemade bakery, great terrace on the roof where you can enjoy sunrises in the morning and watch the stars in the night, big and light rooms where you can feel yourself like home, very good location - 10-15 minutes by walk to ferry port to La Maddalena, to super nice beach La Sciumara, to all central streets! Would be happy to be back one day ? Nothing

Cathy was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean and the breakfast great. The location is very convenient, less than 5 min on foot to the center and harbour, at the same time very quiet and no traffic. We loved it here and would definitely come back!

Had a great stay at this lovely B&B! We arrived after having landed in Olbia and going on a tour on the coast of Sardinia. We were welcomed by a lovely host. Our room was clean and spacious. We stayed for two days and enjoyed some amazing breakfast everyday. The B&B is a great spot for exploring the island of La Maddalena. It is in walking distance to the harbour and all the restaurants in Palau.

Kate, the host, is super kind, everything was perfect. I have been in to different bright bedrooms (with bathroom included) and they both were big, confortable and extremely clean. The Fonda offers guests a tasty and varied breakfast- the homemade pudding is the best! I really recomend this place, I surely would come back. -

It was really a pleasure staying with Katie in her BnB. We found it difficult in general to find good accomodation in Sardinia with a bit of love put into it. Katie was a fabulous exception.

We had a lovely stay at La Fonda. The room was very clean and spacious, we were lucky to have the room with a balcony at the front of the property. Katie was very helpful and gave us recommendations for the area. There is also very nice roof terrace.

Katie is an amazing host. She has built a lovely little home for anyone willing to explore the area around Palau and the Maddalena archipelago - well located, lovely rooms, amazing breakfast and outstanding host. Katie was so lovely, she made sure that we had the best time, helped us with any question we had and also provided tipps to avoid the typical tourist traps. Highly recommended!
