Grand Hotel Palau

Very nice hotel, the staff were very kind, helpful and very nice. Great breakfast, very good location and very clean

Everything was beautiful the hotel the staff the view from my rooom was amazing it’s clean and close to everything

A pool would be nice :-)

The bed and room was clean but not so comfortable. We arrived late at night and was also a bit tricky to find a place to place the car.

Beds were hard and pillows tiny.

the room was clean, and the view from the breakfast balcony was nice. breakfast itself was also good. our shower hose was broken and the tube pierced, we detected upon arrival. half the water running out through the hole in the hose so shower was not pleasant. we reported via the contact we had from hotel - booking chat - and they didnt reply and didnt fix it. we reported again upon check out and they said they would fix it but this changes nothing... also, from one night to the other, the staff pretended to make our bed. they just pushed the blanket on top of the bed and left all the sheets under out of place! This was a bad experience... not worth the money spent. sorry but no!

It’s a simple but elegant hotel with beautiful views of Palau, the port, the sea, islands, and it’s relatively easy to walk to the downtown port area. There is also a cafe / restaurant just one block down. The manager was very friendly. The shower head, water flow, and warm water were great. The liquid soap containers were not checked daily and so the soap levels in the shower and sink soon got low to empty. The gated parking and back is good and feels secure, but the surface is full of medium sized rocks whereas asphalt or concrete would be easier to walk and drive on. Those rocks do get near the rear stairway and could cause someone to step on them and trip. There are two floors, but there is no elevator, so be aware of that.

i was annoyed - no kettle in room to make coffee, when i suggested he charge to make one from the breakfast room, no that closes at 10 i suggested he have a table right by his reception to make instant tea/ coffee only - and charge if he wants - too messy he said ... even back packers you can make tea coffee.. - didnt mind paying 10 euro for his coffee but NO

horrible bad and pillows, one of the worst we had!had to ask for towels as there was none in the room. Had a look at the breakfast buffet and it was not good at all! Way overpriced it’s for what it offers!

we could not attend the breakfast (too late for ur ferry) and hotel was not able to reimburse us, upgrade the room in exchange . not fully fair

The room was nice and clean ,the view stunning , staff very friendly and polite. The location very good near there is a gym for us that was amazing. The city is very small so it is easy to get anywhere you need. Maybe the price is a little bit to high for this hotel , but if you get the room with view it is worth it .

Beautiful view from front porch. Nice breakfast assortment. Close to town but not in the middle of it.
