Albergo Cavour

The room was first rate. 5meter ceilings and very roomy. Quaint elevator and easy access to the train station. Had to ring Maria to let us in every time we went out. Not a big deal, just felt bad when we came back late.

The size of the room and the service of the wonderful staff While close to the train station, which is wonderful, the area immediately around is a little bit seedy, but not uncomfortable. We only took a cab one time and that’s cause we were late. Otherwise we walked everywhere. I really felt like we were a guest in her home.

Breakfast simple but delicious. The room is quite spacious. The owner was flexible with check-in time and letting us store luggage after check-out. No kettle in the room to boil water for tea.

The owners were charming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was sparkling clean and had everything needed for comfort. The hotel was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go in the historic district. The price was very modest. It’s in a sketchy neighborhood on the edge of the historic district around the corner from the train station. There were several people sleeping rough on our street. However, we are two women in our 70s and we never felt unsafe walking around. We walked back from the opera at 10:00 pm and had no problems. It might be different later than that or much before 6:00 am.

Lovely room in an excellent location from the train station. Super clean, just spotless! Italian breakfast with huge croissants delivered to our room at our chosen time was appreciated. Comfortable bed. Very kind proprietors. We could hear everything from other rooms, the halls, everywhere.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We couldn't speak much Italian but she was very patient as we tried. N/A

Perfect place to visit Palermo! Comfortable and clean, in a very convenient location. Excellent hospitality! We found it very useful to have private parking right at the gate next to the hotel.

Sweet hotel run by welcoming staff. Very near the train station and central Palermo. Continental breakfast served in the room. Elevator to fifth floor. Nothing.

Absolutely everything. Close to the train and bus station. The breakfast is tasty and served in the room. Try ricotta croissant!! Every small detail is managed carefully by Maria!! I even left my luggage for 24 hours to go baggage free to Catania. It is by far better than numerous 3 star hotels.

This hotel is way better than most of the 3 star hotel i tried. Room is extra spacious, confortable, with scenic views on the beach and on the mountain. Every small detail is well managed and organised. Location 5 minutes away from bus terminal and train station. The manager Maria is extremely helpful and responds positively on all the requests. I highly recommend Albergo Cavour!! Best hotel in town !!

Very comfortable bed in a big room. Friendly staff. It’s on the 5th floor and one evening someone had left the door elevator door open on the 3rd floor, which meant having to walk up and get it. The area is a little sketchy. It’s very close to the train station, which is good. The hot water lasted a short time. It was fine for a basic shower, but no lingering! Breakfast was €5 and delivered to the room. That felt very swanky!

The staff were easy to get along with and the parking arrangements made everything easier.

The Woman who runs this place cannot be praised more she is absolutely brilliant I would go back again anytime

Clean comfortable room. Good bathroom facilities. Really close to station and major tourist sights. Excellent croissants for breakfast. Like really good. Staff friendly. The street was a little dingy.

it was all ok - room size, friendly staff, clean. 5th floor Albergo: sky view and roofs, less noisy. Didn't safe in the room, was not sure if staff went into my room during my sightseeing tour.
