Location, the staff was as helpful as possible Super noisy, suspicious bed sheets, was not sure if they were actually washed, kitchen impossible to use, uncomfortable mattress

The location I booked a room with a shared bathroom with one other room. There were 2 bathrooms/loos, clearly marked as MEN and WOMEN. I was told there was no one else sharing my bathroom that night. Instead some men took it over - to charge their phone and have their shower. I was bursting to go to the loo, but there were no separate loos and the men's bathroom was also occupied with someone showering. I asked the guy who was there to supervise and sort out problems, but he was unable to do anything. Moreover the room smelled of damp and the TV wasn't working, though this may have been my ineptitude.

This is Palermo City Center but in the super noisy and... dirty area. Good for the low price and only because of it. Super dirty and crowded area. Very old building. Strange, chemical smell in the room. White light like in the mortuary. TV not connected. Can not sleep well because of strong odour. Not for regular tourists.

Surprising but perfect for big group one night stay

It's in the wider city center and close to the train station. The room was smelling bad, and the blankets were dirty. Toilets were ok, but still they could have been cleaned better. It is mostly a hostel visited by young people, so expect noisy nights.

They canceled my first accomodation, and this was the second choice. And it was true experience. The Dormitory was clean and quiet. The location near Balaro market , the quiet dormitory, The Palermo, the Host, everything could be bit disturbing, maybe scarying but good adventure.

Was looking for a cheap place to sleep with private room. So got what I wanted. Shared toilet was also very nearby. If you are sensitive for a noises use a earplugs. Voice from corridor and the street can easily hear to the room

Everything was dirty, no proper light in the room and the room itself was not the same as I saw at picture (worse). Bathrooms were dirty, very noisy and the smell was terrible in all apartment.

I had a great feeling of authenticity when I entered the grand high front doors of the location. The changing light on the nearby buildings was fascinating to watch from the little balcony. The elevator was a definite plus as no one wants to struggle with luggage and stairs. There is a delightful kitchen, but one must bring one's own amenities. I loved the tall ceilings with artful plasterwork and the antique atmosphere and furniture in the bedroom. I loved the location and proximity to the train station and the delicious Gran Torino Cafe nearby. The staff were very accomodating and helpful and I felt right at home away from home here. I didn't realize to bring my own supplies and I didn't feel like going out again once I was in, though there are nearby shops, so i would recommend bringing extra tissue, water, instant coffee or tea, milk, sugar, etc.

Extremely clean bathroom and room, perfect location near the train station, easy self-checkin and good communication with the owner (through WhatsApp), airconditioning works good, cleaning lady is very friendly, there is a kitchen to put things in the fridge. Very practical place! Our room had a double bed and a bunk bed. The matrasses were not very comfortable for one of us who has back problems but personally I thought it was fine.
