Hotel California - A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

Absolutely lovely! We were coming from Vegas and the quiet and calm was exactly what we wanted. The views from the balcony rooms are beautiful- highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and attentive… :) Spent a lot of time in the pool, which is a little small. I do think that it would be great if they could provide water in the kitchen or by the pool like some other hotels do instead of having to go to your room to get water especially since it is so hot outside! The room, however, is somewhat subpar, i’ve definitely stayed in nicer rooms! The bathroom is small.. i would equate it to a motel. AC worked which was great. The room also had a fridge and a microwave, which was also handy.. The “breakfast “ was ok as well. The hard boiled eggs we got were not good. It’s basic so do not expect anything fancy. Cereal, bagels, yogurt. I did love that there was a coffee maker in the room!

A comfortable room, the Staff are very accommodating. Courtyard features a pool and hot tub. Easy to find location, restaurants and bars located directly across the street. A breakfast bar available all day. Palm Springs not much of a walking visitor town, you have to drive to get around. There are particular times of the year best to visit the Palm Springs area, summer is not one of them.

very lovely property. pool is small and room was nothing special, it reminded me of a motel 6 with an added attempt at wall decor. door had broken bottom lock and a gap, taped on the inside- an eyesore. the excellent morning coffee from KOFFI made up for it. would stay again if the price is right, but definitely not one of the cooler small ps hotels.

All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly. Shout out to Terri, Linda& Mike! Rooms were very clean. Our room had everything we needed. Beverages were stocked, as well as snacks for our day of arrival. They provided a wonderful breakfast every morning. The outdoors were nicely maintained. They even had sunscreen at poolside. We will be back!

The personnel were exceptionally compassionate and polite: any of our concerns were fixed within a very short period of time. Continental breakfast was elaborate and fitted many dietary restrictions. Also, kitchen and coffee were available to use 24/7. Old fashion key entry was also handy for those who wished to avoid use of electronics on the Holy days A few pieces of furniture required repair, we discovered it by accident trying to accommodate a couple of friends. It wasn't anything major so we didn't address that issue right away. We managed using it in its original configuration

The Hotel California was such a nice place to relax and enjoy our mini getaway. The room was clean, we loved that the room had a mini fridge and the pool was so a lot of fun. My husband and I can’t wait to go back 🌞

This hotel was excellent, the pool area and sitting area were terrific. Breakfast was perfect although not a lot of choice but perfect. We loved being able to have our little table and chairs just outside our room. It was within walking distance of restaurants. The staff were so helpful and efficient, they were excellent. Nothing

Felt very homey , pool and jacuzzi was perfect ! I believe his name was mike ? But the first night and the first morning we stayed he was so helpful ! And serving ! 10/10 for him ! Really loved the fact that there was no kids lol just adults. A lot of wind , so blew a lot of trash into pool and jacuzzi but no biggie

Everything Nothing

I liked the fact they had a Keurig and under counter refer in the room. The manager was very rude. The room was very dated. Not as pictured on the website, pretty much a catfish. The curtains were gross and our screen slider had a hole in it. Got bit 3 times on my arm and leg by something in the room. Paint on the walls was all chipped off. The pillows were old and smelled musty. The bathroom was very dated. Unfortunately I would not recommend and would not stay here again. Pictures are deceiving.

This hotel is a gem! It is nestled right near downtown Palm Springs, but far enough out of town to enjoy the peace and quiet. We loved the historic nature of the property as well! We stayed in the townhouse and the entire upstairs, downstairs, kitchen, and bedroom, were all very clean. We also enjoyed the outdoor spaces upstairs and downstairs. So beautiful! Teri and Lynda took very good care of us with complimentary snacks and beverages and were also very responsive to our needs. We also loved the complimentary continental breakfast each morning and the freshly popped popcorn in the evenings! Thank you, Hotel California! You helped make our anniversary very memorable!
