They gave me dreaded Room 240. Its like a hole in the wall. room had musty smell, front door doesnt open all the way. Safe didnt work properly, so was advised to use combination that didnt use the broken numbers. The bed was average, cramped into the room. View of the bay, but cannot really relax as you will be looking straight into the neighboring rooms shower. Nice hotel, perhaps just stay away from this room.

Great location!

Room was huge which was great but not what we ordered as only 2 of us, the view was awful, looking at a horrible wall. Food was great, staff were amazing, hotel very clean, view from hotel was fantastic just not our room. We were not in very much so was ok in the end. Location great, right next to the beach. Shower room on last day as flight not until later and check out was 10:30am. Would stay again but in a superior room. Right on Son Matias Beach which was great. Room was huge which was great but not what we ordered as only 2 of us, the view was awful, looking at a horrible wall. We were not in very much so was ok in the end.

Very little I have been travelling to different parts of the world for the last 20 years and my stay at The Leonardo Royal Hotel was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. My partner and I were celebrating our honeymoon and spent the last two days of our trip in Palmanova. We checked in and I upgraded us to a Junior Suite with a Sea View for the occasion. Initially things seemed fine with the hotel - it was when we arrived back to our room after dinner that the problems started to arise. When we opened the door we were greeted with an unbearable stench of sewage coming from up from the pipes. As well as this the air conditioning in the room has stopped working completely. I walked down to reception to inform them of the quite serious issues, however, they didn't seem to bothered to try and rectify them. I was told to 'place wet towels over the sink and drains' to mask the smell, and that a technician would be down shortly to look at the electrical problem. Eventually a male with little to no English came to the room, looked at the AC unit, muttered something in Spanish and said it would be fine until the morning. My partner and I got no sleep as the room was like a furnace We both attended reception the following morning to raise the issue again, and once again felt like we were being completely ignored and disrespected with the tone at which we were being spoken to. I requested to speak with the manager at which we had to wait 40 minutes to achieve this. I explained that we had not gotten a wink of sleep last night and the manner at which her staff were dealing with it, was totally unacceptable. Much like her employees - we were shown a complete lack of empathy. Eventually I was offered a refund on the upgrade I purchased for the suite and a return to the room that I had initially purchased. At no stage throughout the stay were either of us offered an apology or at least shown a flicker of remorse.

Staff is amazing, we stayed with our 7mo baby and everyone was super nice and helpful. Location and the view is also great, we enjoy every minute of our stay. We would definitely wanna come here again.

We stayed in the annex pool which had its own pool which was quiter than the main pool which was we great. The location was close to the beach and restaurants. We had an small Issue with the cot and it was remedied quickly. We booked the room in the annex building as it showed that the bedroom was separate from the kitchenette/ sofa as we had a baby and wanted to be able to sit up after we put them to bed. There was a door separating these rooms however the main entrance door led into the bedroom which made it awkward if one of us wanted to leave the apartment once our baby had gone to bed. The entrance doors into the apartment make a loud bang so this makes a lot of noise at nigh. I requested a room in a quiet location in the building as we had a baby. They didn't take this into consideration. Our room was across from the pool and had a lot of people passing to go to their rooms which was noisy at night and not ideal with a baby We were on the ground floor and there was a loud noise from the pipes when someone flushed the toilet above us. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Beautiful hotel and perfect location with great beach

Had very nice experience in Leonardo Royal. Location is just beside the beach and has private entrance to the beach. The view was so beautiful. We visited with kids and they enjoyed the stay very much. Breakfast was good with wide varieties. Room was cozy and very clean, pools were also nice. The staff at receptions were friendly and professional, they arranged cabs whenever we needed. I dont find anything negative at all and definitely highly recommendable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! This was our second year in a row coming here with my husband and parents. The location is perfect – just a 3-minute walk to Sol Matias beach. If you want more options, there are many cafés and restaurants nearby, as well as Magaluf Beach, which is about a 10-minute walk away. The beaches are clean, and the water is warm and crystal clear (in 2024 we stayed for 11 nights in mid-August, and in 2025 we stayed for 11 nights from August 28 — the weather was perfect both times, 28–30°C, with the sea around 26°C). There are sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool (though a few umbrellas were broken, so there aren’t quite enough for every pair of loungers — please look into this!). For us, it was fine and we always found a spot. Pool towels are available for rent for €10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist or accommodate special requests. If you arrive late, they keep food for you so you can have dinner after check-in. If you leave early in the morning, you can order an early breakfast the night before — very convenient. The restaurant food is delicious and varied. We had half-board (breakfast and dinner) and were very happy with the choice: vegan, healthy, and meat options are always available. There is always a good selection of fruits, cheeses, meats, salads, yogurts, pastries, and desserts. There are also themed dinners such as Mexican, Spanish, and Asian — the chefs are amazing! A special thanks to Santiago, who greets guests at the restaurant entrance. He always lifted our spirits, asked about our stay, and made us feel very welcome. He is always ready to help and recommend something — we really appreciated him! The entire staff is warm, friendly, and smiling. The animators, Anastasia and Alberto, are full of energy, always ready to help, and it was a pleasure to chat with them and join their activities — from archery to aqua aerobics. We were initially checked into a room different from the one we had booked, but the next morning the staff quickly resolved the situation and moved us to the correct room, where we felt very comfortable. Though a few umbrellas were broken, so there aren’t quite enough for every pair of loungers — please look into this

It was an unforgettable and wonderful vacation. The hotel has excellent food and staff. We had planned to try out local restaurants, but there was no need at all since the hotel’s restaurant cuisine was amazing. We stayed with three children, and everyone had a great time. Daily cleaning, fantastic animation (special thanks to the girls from Ukraine who won the children’s hearts). Many thanks to Hotel Leonardo for such a warm welcome and a great holiday.

Excellent location, really comfortable beds and nice variety of different foods. The room could be quieter as could hear lots of noise at intervals during the night.
