The location and the facilities The service and house keeping

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The Zel House itself deserves a lot of praise. It is very spacious, and the terrace is absolutely fantastic. Plenty of towels are provided, the jacuzzi is cleaned every day, and the Bali bed (gazebo) is incredibly comfortable. The room also comes with yoga equipment, a portable Bluetooth speaker, and is stylishly and thoughtfully designed. There are plenty of books, and even a record player with vinyl records. The TV in the bedroom struggled to load most channels, but that's hardly a major issue—we weren't on holiday to watch television. The hotel's location is very good, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. Gym is great with all basic equipment and free weights. Though, there were many male guests training topless and not always covering the machines with their towely which i find rather disgusting. I only used the sauna, steam room once and it's great to have it though, why should i go to the sauna when it's 35 degrees? :-) Hotel offers several classes and I enjoyed the Pilates class very much. Room is a bit small but air conditioned and they offer everything from towel, water, mat, etc. You can get a great overview of the hotel facilities and request everything with the hotel app, though navigating the website, especially changing the language default was a bit challenging and at times the WiFi was not too stable or slow. We booked a standard room with a street view. When we arrived, the room did not meet our expectations at all. The staff reacted quickly and offered us two alternatives: either move to their partner hotel or upgrade our room. We chose to upgrade to the Zel House. Unfortunately, I realized too late that the pricing of the upgrade made no sense. Our standard room had already been paid for and cost €416 per night. The upgrade cost an additional €500 per night, bringing the total to €916 per night, even though the Zel House could have been booked directly for around €700 per night. While the staff understood our disappointment, no refund or price adjustment was offered. The staff were generally very friendly, always greeted guests, and were helpful. However, they often seemed a little inexperienced, and it felt like every second question required them to consult a supervisor. One exception was Tanja, who was outstanding. She genuinely cared and really tried to help us. We never dined at the hotel restaurant because the prices were simply too high. Drinks at the hotel bar were around 40–50% more expensive than at bars just around the corner. The breakfast buffet was what you would expect from a 4-star superior hotel, with one exception: the bread was consistently too hard and dry. The hotel is not very well soundproofed. The doors are thin, and you can hear guests in the stairwell. During both the day and the evening, you can hear the bass from the hotel's bar. Once the music stopped, we were left with a constant low humming noise, which may have come from the ventilation system located one floor below our room. One important thing to know is that although the hotel is located directly on the beach, it does not have a private beach. Sunbeds must be rented separately for approximately €30 per day. Many guests spent their days by the hotel pool. The only annoying part was that people reserved the sunbeds early in the morning with their towels.

Design, staff and spacious rooms A bit loud neighborhood and expensive beach - it’d be nice to have it complimentary. Not really family oriented, even though a lot of families in the hotel.

The breakfast& beso beach club food and drinks was pretty good! Also loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel and the view from the balcony!

Relaxed atmosphere, amazing staff from check in to check out. Great location. Walkable to all restaurants and bars. Nothing

The property was very well located offering the beach, pool, restaurants, shops all walkable. Breakfast buffet was unbelievable and everything was super clean and well maintained. The piped in music was the same every day.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety, and the interior design was beautiful — very modern, stylish, and thoughtfully done. The gym is also clean with good lighting, perfect for morning workout and then head to breakfast! The hotel has a fresh and relaxing vibe. The bathroom didn’t seem to have proper scent extraction or ventilation, which made it less comfortable. Also, the windows were quite thin, so noise from outside could still be heard clearly until around midnight.

Location, on the beach, great happening vibe, the restos downstairs, the rooms are beautiful, the design in excellent The lack of utensils when going for breakfast-at the price of a room I should not be asking for this, they should be promptly replaced constantly when someone leaves. I did not like the lack of front desk-some people cannot check in online like myself or just didn’t have time to. It was very confusing upon entry and the man I dealt with made it clear I should have done this but he would “take care of it” for me. Dont make me sound like work.

The hotel itself was gorgeous! Rooms were beautiful and perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious! Loved that it was also right on the beach. The hotel is very aesthetic and perfect for nice pictures. Also liked that there was free parking nearby - there is no need to get paid parking at the hotel as there is a free lot within 4 min walking distance. While the hotel itself is perfect, the location of the hotel is not the greatest. It didn't have that "European feel" at all, and was just strips of souvenir shops and bars. The restaurants weren't bad, we even found a great little Italian spot with great authentic pasta, but the area itself just didn't feel like I was in Europe and more like I was in the US. The beach front property made up for this fact - and if anything you can just rent a car and go to nicer areas for dinner if you like.

This hotel is a 10/10 the facilities, staff, the classes they have throughout the week for Pilates and cooking is just great. Not to mention the hotel is right on the strip close to alot of restaurants.

New and modern. Great breakfast No front desk.

Beautiful property and great location Limited hours that amenities were open.

The menu for dinner in their restaurant was too much exotic and pricey. I’d suggest to include more balanced options.

There were plenty of hidden costs that weren’t clear when booking (e.g. parking cost $33 Euros per day). The cabanas in front of the beach were not part of our hotel (as expected) so we were charged additional for using them. The pool did not seem to open at the time I indicated and closed early. Staff weren’t the most helpful when we had questions for them and seemed to avoid interaction with us. The biggest gripe I have is that the price paid for our stay seemed quite high.

The lobby was amazing The staff were not helpful by the pool. The pool area was so noisy and dirty kids running all around and splashing water and no one talked to them. The service by the pool was so poor. I would never come back again.

Staff was really super welcoming on arrival Spacious deluxe suite, bathtub with seaview Beachfront and the beach is beautiful Expensive but truly awesome food Big thanks to JJ1 (hope you had your best day ever mate) for help on departure day and Marina for her kindness. Would've given half the rating otherwise Some "seaview" rooms just have a big tree in front Noise all the time Small pool with way too many sunbeds, view on the rooms or the walkway Rock hard bed No private area on the beach or reserved sunbeds Checkout was a disaster, I had a late flight and just wanted to enjoy beach but nobody even remotely tried to help except JJ1 (who fixed it in seconds). I had to book another room for half day, and the other staff still told me I had to wait until 15h even if it was ready.. other "solution" was to shower and change and pack in the pool's toilet.. makes no sense after being super nice and efficient on your arrival and after spending that money on a suite.

Home feeling, and the best night manager in the world I don’t know his name but he is the best. Poor location

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

Friendly and perfect rooms and treatments, more than expectations Nothing

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

amazing hotel and beach every thing was amazing luxury hotel very far from center , there is no options food in restaurant for dinner and lunch

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

The pool and facilities were great. We like the 24/7 gym which gave us a lot of flexibility to work out. Food was good for breakfast. Access to the beach was great. Room was ok for the price we paid. Thought it would be nicer for a five star. I could hear footsteps from above us and we faced the street level and can smell the food from the restaurants. If we booked again, we would have to book ocean view to enjoy the experience.
