Grand Hotel Nouvel Opera

Clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants an easy walk away. The metro was just down the street and everything we needed was just outside the door. The shower was tiny but serviceable

Price The bathroom had minor issues

Public transport access; nearby shops, restaurants, and facilities; safe location; friendly staff; upgraded room; capacious and clean bathroom. Daily toilet paper rolls and tissue boxes were not replaced daily as well as bathroom soap-however, they were replenished on demand. Same thing for instant coffee sachets and teabags.

Great spot on the water! Having the bar open late was a nice surprise , especially since you are a bit further away from the happening area. Absolutely beautiful area. Nice bathroom! Towel warmer is best thing I've ever seen before!

Only issue is that there was no A/C. Not a huge deal as you can open windows and use a fan, but it was probably about 78°F/ 25°C in the room the whole stay (mid July).

It is a very small room with a small shower area. It is kind of dated. But based on other reviews i wasnt surprise on the condition. It works fine for one person for a few days. Of note the dont have AC and there is no fridge, but they do provide a fan.

There were many things disappointing. The cost was unreal for the value. The room was so hot with only a very tiny fan available. The washroom was very small. There was no place to put a makeup bag. You had a sliding door that was see through. Breakfast was expensive, we went elsewhere. The room was so tiny there was only too To layout one suitcase at a time. The pictures do not show a true reflection of the room. The elevator was sketchy and tiny. Some staff in the morning were lovely. Night staff not so much.

Location was very good. Very hot shower. Very small shower. Small space in the room itself.

Nothing They put me in floor without lift operating. The room is so tiny and doesn’t look like the picture. The staff is rude and asked a lot of questions what I’m doing and why am I going to my room?? Cleaning is awful waiting until 4 pm for them to clean?? Not worth booking at all I would have paid extra to go somewhere else

The hotel is clean and in a good location, close to metro and a walkable area. Friendly staff Very very simple and almost hugly. Small and not cosy at all. Ruined and old fixtures. Verylittle space in the toilet

Comfortable bed Shower room so small and dangerous to get in or out.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Metro near, bars, bakeries, shops etc.The stuff was very kind. The blanket was dirty, and it had a dust on the curtains.

Passable

Good location, kind staff. We got the smallest room, but the biggest bathroom. The bathroom was clean, we got room cleaning every day. The bathroom sink had only ice cold water (bath tub was super nice with the warm water). The room was small, but clean. The walls were thin (could hear some noise from other rooms), but the location was great.

Pleasant

The rooms were warm and we had everything we needed. We got a room with two singles and the beds were pretty small for both of us (I‘m 5'4 and she‘s around 5'2). The sloshing in the pipes were really loud on the first night and on our second one we could hear other people talking because the walls are very thin. In the booklet you get in your hotel room, they mention that breakfast is served from 7-10 am, and that’s what it also says on the booking app. We assumed that the breakfast was included, but it turns out it’s 14 euros per person. Now, we could have definitely asked before sitting down, but it wasn’t an illogical assumption we made and 14 euros per person for breakfast that you can get cheaper even in central Paris is crazy.
