The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially appreciate the manager, who kindly helped us move to a room with a balcony after our second night. The team was always helpful and made us feel welcome. The corridors had an unpleasant smell at times, and the air conditioning wasn’t very effective. The unit was quite small and struggled to keep the room cool during the warmer days.

A/C was very good. Bathroom was very clean and beautiful Lobby area is small and unimpressive.

The team member who checked us in was fabulous! I received the 'guest of the day' letter which was a fantastic extension to our welcome and to our stay. The elevator wasn't working consistently.

Rooms are small but extremely nice. Beds are large and comfortable. Excellent A/C was a godsend during the June heat dome. Staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free and excellent. Location was superb. Has an elevator. Lots of great restaurants nearby. No complaints

Small boutique hotel in Latin Quarter, 5th Arr, an excellent location for easy walk to major sites: Notre Dame Cathedral, Cluny Medieval Museum, Sainte Chapelle, Concierge, Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens. With this great location, we didn't need to use Metro or bus. Super bonus was the nearby street market, a block away on Blvd St Germain, held every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday until 1:00pm, with wonderful selection of children's clothes, cashmere scarves (EURO 30), leather goods. Our room, while somewhat smaller than those in USA, was furnished to a high standard, including all the extras you would expect from a 4Star hotel. Our room was wonderfully quiet, with no street noise & an air conditioner that worked well. We slept beautifully. We appreciated that the hotel served afternoon snacks & drinks for guests, a welcome treat after a day of walking. No complaints.

This was the third time we stayed there. It is small and immaculate. The hotel is well-located near the Pantheon, good restaurants, the Cluny museum and other attractions. Having to leave.

It was very pretty and very clean. The balcony was beautiful having complementary drinks and snacks was also a really nice friendly touch.

I already left a review but I'll add that the other reviews on Booking.com and on the internet were very helpful. We were very happy with our stay at the Hôtel des Carmes.

We stayed in double standard room one night, then the larger Junior Suite for 5 nights which was a treat. Both rooms were very nice and clean with very comfortable beds. Unexpected: The double room was not huge but still was very nice; the hot towel racks in the rooms helped us to dry our towels and hand laundry very quickly; good room temperature and thermostat, good hot water and shower pressure and very nice tub in the roomy junior suite. The staff was friendly, accommodating and responsive. Located in a quieter area that felt safe, yet walk to Notre Dame, Pantheon, eateries, shops, market place, parks/gardens very close (2 to less than 10 minutes). We were glad we opted to eat breakfast out at the cafes very nearby (instead of at the hotel) to experience Paris-- a couple of them became our favorite go-to's for cappuccino and brunch and dinner. Definitely a 10/10 for location. We would definitely stay at Hôtel des Carmes again in the Latin Quarter. Tres bien! The junior suite needs a privacy shade or curtain but we made due. It seems that most hotel rooms in Europe have only one stand for luggage--a second one for the other person would have been good.

Everything was lovely! Amazing location, very clean room. Perfect size room for Paris. The staff was SO nice, helpful and friendly.

We love the location, it has mini supermarkets across the street, there’s boulangerie, fromagerie/charcuterie with a Saturday market down the corner street, if you would like to make baguette traditional sandwich. And the metro is a few steps away, very convenient. The Pantheon ia closeby and can be seen at the top of the street as well as from the hotel room balcony. Notre Dame, Jardin des Plantes and and Luxemborg garden are not too far away. And there are many restaurants to choose from in the area, all just walking distance - seafood, French, Asian, etc. The staff are also very pleasant and helpful especially Maria. Nothing
