It was very hot in our room and we could not get it cooled off.
-
Amazing and friendly staff always helpful Rooms are noisy due to the heavy doors so you feel that other rooms opening and closing with very loud bangs and pops.
-
Very good location, close to shopping and a lot of good restaurants nearby. We stayed here 2 times.
-
The location The property refused to handle a legitimate request under force majeure circumstances. I had to leave after one night due to unexpected travel disruptions caused by the geopolitical situation affecting flights. Despite this, the hotel insisted on charging the full stay and has been unresponsive to Booking.com’s request for a resolution. The lack of flexibility and poor customer service in such an exceptional situation is very disappointing.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful, beginning at check in and all the way through to the rest of the staff. Namia was a sweetheart!
-
Room a bit small, but it’s okay in a busy area.
-
Location was great, near the Palais Garnier and Gallleries Lafayette. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and great storage space. Need to be careful climbing in and out of tub but the shower was good

Frédéric and his staff were welcoming and kind . If we had questions they were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very cozy! Nothing not to like . The shower bath combo was not what were used to but easily adaptable . Water was hot and the body gel smelled so good .

Nice hotel in a good location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location is great next to all the major attractions in paris. Also close to the metro station. Naiima is on staff there and she did a great job taking care of us. All the staff were really great. Breakfast was very good. The rooms are a bit old, but well kept

Centrally located and in a relatively quiet street whilst still in the heart of Paris. The staff are very kind and helpful! The property in itself is a little dated but if you don't care for modern taste and want a safe, comfortable, decently clean place - this is it. The elevator is very small so may not be suited for those who suffer from claustrophobia.
-
The proximity to the metro, restaurants and stores The air conditioning is not an option if you are there in months with an R - lol I don’t know but don’t ask they don’t have it, I think the government shuts it down or something just kidding. Well it was chilly at night which was fine but the first few nights were warm - and I opened the windows which overlooked a small enclosed area the breeze was cooling. The 300 mosquito bites I’ve acquired not so much. I wish I was kidding about that. Anyway loved the hotel very nice . A fan of George Sand and it’s also close to her Paris apartment which I recommend checking out.

The Hotel George Sand Opéra Paris is a rare gem among the hotels in Paris. Friendly, helpful, accommodating staff, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and an excellent location make for a warm and memorable experience. Special thanks to Laeticia for her message of welcome and thoughtfully making a room change!

WiFi was horrible and almost unusable. Dated with squeaky floorboards and grime. Shower wasn’t great. Toilet felt crammed

The building is really outdated, needs a total renovation process. There was an awful smell starting from the elevator and it was all over in our room aswell. We had couple of dirty towels and pillow sheets and there was actually a blood stain in one of the pillow sheets. From time to time there was a urine smell in the room.

Loved that there was an elevator and in a quiet area so you did not hear noise at night. The Room was very spacious and had great storage for hanging clothes. Did not like that you had to walk through the 2nd bedroom to get to the bathroom. Our daughter kept getting woken up each time we had to use the bathroom during the night. You could not see because it was dark, and the light switch was outside the bathroom. Hairdryer was broken first day we got there and had to ask for a new one. And the soap dispenser near bathroom sink was empty until we had to ask for it to be filled. This should be part of housekeeping inspection when new guests arrive.
-
Location, air conditioning is very quiet and room was cold It’s very old. You can hear the metro/subway from room 104. Bathroom needs a renovation.
-
Bed was very comfortable. Nice and quiet without any noise issues sleeping at night. A bit too old and hasty overall. Bathroom shower only has less than less of screen partition, water leaking out to the floor after shower no matter how careful.

Staff are very kind
