Staff spoke English and were the best bit of our stay! Main negative point was the air conditioning was switched off/reduced and it meant the night was uncomfortable Poor air conditioning

Good location near a metro station, and walkable to the Louvre. Good breakfast and friendly staff. We were on top floor and had lovely views across the roofs, with beautiful beams and the attic slope. The attic room was hot during the heat wave, and the a/c struggled to cool the room, but the hotel was able to provide a fan which helped a lot. Being an old building there were some issues during our stay - the lift was broken on one day and we lost hot water on another day (this wasn’t so bad since it was so hot outside!). Worth noting that since there is no door on bedroom (6th floor), the room was light until sunset at 9-10pm.

Nice location Nice room size Not worth $300+ a night. Avoid. Had to take a freezing cold shower because the hotel had no hot water. When I complained, the front desk clerk didn't even bother to apologize—he just said a plumber came last week (not my problem!). On top of that, he made me wait to print my receipt while he chatted on his cell phone. Unprofessional and unacceptable service for the price.
