It is a decent property. Very close to the metro station which is very convenient if one plans on using public transportation quite a lot throughout their stay. A very special thanks to some remarkable staff, Jewel and Najmul, who always went above and beyond to deliver excellent service and make our stay feel extra special. The rooms are a bit small. There is neither fridge nor closet, which is unfortunate.

The location is excellent, minutes from Montmarte and easily accessible walks/metro to centre of Paris and main attractions. Hotel is well maintained and has a very calming atmosphere. Courtyard view isn’t quite what you would expect, it more oversaw a back alley and waste pipes.

Location is terrible, absolutely not safe the metro station is filled with hustlers and same street is with drug addicts and alcoholics. I was cat called when I picked up my food for 2 min outside. You hear peoples voices from the street in the room. Hotel comfort and quality is good.

Decent bed, decent bathrooms, clean, some good staff, nice lobby. Rooms are too small, no fridge, terrible lighting inside the room with auto off switches, no control over AC temperature, housekeeping inconsistent, breakfast seriously lacks options and starts runnning out long before the breakfast time is over, the neighbourhood is sketchy (inside the hotel, its fine), facility (like sauna, gym) timings make no sense as they close before you even get back to the hotel after exploring the city.

The staff at Maison Barbes made me feel extremely welcomed, nothing was too much of a problem and they made the experience comfortable and relaxing. They also were helpful and gave me recommendations of where to go. I was impressed with how clean and chic the hotel was, the bed was bliss and good facility’s! I will definatly be back again soon!
