Location was great and close to the Gare du Nord as expected and once inside the hotel all was good. The reception staff were friendly. The neighbourhood and road that the Hotel was on was very lively during the day and evening with large groups of men congregating and blocking the footpaths. We didn't feel very safe when walking around this area at night.

An unexpected gem in walking distance from Gare de l’Est ! Cosy, spotless, great value for money, attentive and friendly staff. I had a single room overlooking the street and the windows were perfectly soundproof. Very comfortable bed, nice toiletries. Only a 10 minute walk to the Canal Saint Martin area and lots of good cafés and restaurants down rue Faubourg Saint Denis. I highly recommend if you need a room close to Gare de l’Est or Gare du Nord!

Service was excellent. Staff very friendly. The room was small but clean.The room was quiet. We were beside an elevator but never bothered by it. The "private" bathroom was only private because it was not shared with another room, but it was not private in the sense that the shower was not closed off, and it was out in the open, and since I was with my son, I did not have any personal privacy so chose not to use it. The location was not what I expected. Lots of garbage on the street in the area, homeless people were frequently seen, a man was peeing in public right near the hotel. The "City View" was a view of a wall. Totally different than the description.

Friendly staff and location close to commute and restaurants, boulangeries and walking around. Great for one night before taking flight! Tiny rooms, old worn downs and did not feel clean.
