Lovely hotel well located The smell in our room, 509, was absolutely horrible. We could barely breathe, especially with my 6-year-old daughter. Our first night was a nightmare, we were unable to sleep until around 6:00am because the room was practically unbreathable The next day, we went to the reception to ask if someone could please clean the room and investigate the source of the smell. There was a queue for check-in, and since we had spent most of the day sleeping and wanted to leave to get something to eat, I approached the receptionist from the side to ask for help. His response was extremely rude: “You bother me for that?” Then I came back to them later to again result a check, the reception has finally came with me to check and he sent someone to fix the issue that was not completely fixed but at least we could breast as the smell was much less than the first and second day The safety issue was even more frightening. At around 4:30am, someone tried to open our room door. I immediately went to reception, completely shocked and shaken, because I wanted the incident to be investigated and, most importantly, to make sure it would not happen again. Unfortunately, the receptionist was again extremely rude and dismissive. He told me, “I can’t do anything for you,” and suggested that the person was “probably drunk.” When I asked him to make sure this would not happen again, he simply replied, “I don’t know.” When I asked for his name, he rudely said, “Ohhh, take it and go complain.” Then he wrote down the timing and the room number, the second day after leaving the hotel, I got an email saying that the 409 tried to access to my room as he was drunk I was visibly shaking and extremely frightened at the time, yet instead of offering reassurance or taking the situation seriously, I was treated with complete disrespect. Location, accessibility and friendly staff. Rooms are too small but that’s okay considering the price.

A nice Moxy hotel (but the Moxy in Kaunas is better). The location is great. The lobby is very nice. The front desk staff are super friendly. The breakfast is ok. The room was not big but not painfully small either. Still difficult to find place for two suitcases. The balcony didn’t have the view I had requested beforehand. The bathroom ok except a small and dangerously slippery shower stall. But overall our stay was pretty smooth. Oh and the AC worked properly. The shower wasn’t good, low water pressure and too small a stall, slippery when wet!

The parking was very difficult and limited.

Quirky, comfortable hotel with lovely staff. The rooms are clean and comfy. The breakfast isn't great. It's fine but I've definitely had better hotel breakfasts

Good location, friendly and helpful and welcoming staff A little run down, room was quite pokey, noisy elevators and ac unit

We loved the relaxing ambience generated through lovely subtle modern decor, soft music & a fabulous seated garden area with overhanging trees and trickling water We were impressed by the cleanliness everywhere ,the really scrumptious breakfast with so much choice of great food We experience the Sunday market just right outside and again were overwhelmed by the tastes & merchandise The metro is up the road and no where is far away Most of all the Moxy staff were the most welcoming attentive kind & happy bunch of people we have ever met There was nothing not to like

Moxy is a gem, with a great vibe, a bar and helpful, welcoming staff. It is well located in the 11ème arrondissement, near Bastille, le Marais and Gare de Lyon, and thoughtfully equipped inluding lifts and aircon. The room was clean and convenient if a little small. Breakfast was excellent. Good value in Paris. My only minor quibbke is the compactness of rooms. But thoughtful design helps.
