Hotel Marais Bastille

I stayed somewhere else then decided to extend my Paris vacation and booked here on my last night. I wish I stayed here sooner: the location is great (short walk to maybe 3 Metro stations), the room is spacious and thoughtfully stocked with toiletries, water, a fridge, pillow mints/candy, snacks, and even a tote bag. The lobby is beautiful, the lift can fit more than just you and your luggage, and the front desk staff are very helpful. I slept so well! None

Very confortable bed, good shower, plenty of space. We walked everywhere within 25 minutes and the métro is right here One idea to make it even better: to have one carafe of water for each guest beside the bed.

The staff were so nice and lovely. They gave us a little canvas bag in the room as a little souvenir and it was a very nice touch. There was AC which was great! The location was perfect. It’s walking distance to the Marais and Bastille but far enough that you feel like you’re in a real neighborhood. We also liked the mint infused water in the lobby. It’s an older property and very simple without frills but it was still well appointed and perfect for us. Very good value. The one thing to note is that if your room faces the little courtyard you might hear a bit of noise if people are out there (it echos a lot). However the hotel staff have anticipated the potential noise and provide ear plugs which was a really nice surprise!

The breakfast was excellent. The food was delicious and a variety to choose from. The area was great. I felt safe and there are many restaurants and cafes. The Metro and buses are close to the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Lovely staff, loved all the bonus gifts in the room, including cookies, a tote and sweets. Plus a toothbrush! The staff was friendly and welcoming.

This was a great stay, we loved the quieter but central location. Bed was comfortable, WiFi worked well, water in the lobby and lobby area was very nice. They held our bags for us and were very friendly. AC could have been stronger during the heat wave, needed more outlets

The shower, the pressure was poor and the water was juggling from hot to cold with no reason

Comfortable beds and nice sized bathroom! They had an elevator which was a good thing for us. No complaints at all!

Breakfast was OK. Coffee great. Rooms a little tight in space but functional. The stairway was dark.

Could leave bags with the front desk after check out, good location, welcome gift in the room You had to leave your room key at the front desk when not in the room.

Told the staff we had ants in the bathroom. They refused to do anything about it...for 3 days

Perfect location to be close to the Marais without being in the tourist hot spots.
