Peace and Love is a youth hostel overlooking Paris’ Canal Saint-Martin. There is a pub and free Wi-Fi internet access. Peace and Love youth hostel offers both shared and private room options. Most rooms have bunk beds and double rooms are also available. Sheets, bed covers and pillows are provided and towels are available. Peace and Love is open 24 hours a day. It is a seven-floor-hostel, which does not benefit from an elevator. It has a TV room and cooking facilities with an oven, microwave and fridge. There is also a luggage storage room, safes are available, and private parking is possible on site at an additional cost. There is a pub with a terrace where guests can sample a variety of beers and cocktails, with Happy Hour prices. Supermarkets, bakeries and laundromats are within walking distance. Peace and Love is conveniently located 427 feet from the Jaurès Metro and a 15-minute walk from Gare du Nord Train Station. The Parc des Buttes Chaumont is 10 minutes away.

Nothing Space was messier. We rented women only room but they gave us mixed room. We explicitly said that we don't want a mixed room but still they sent a guy when we weren't there. Pathetic experience and strange vibes.

Everything in the hotel is good and reasonable. But my sleep was very disturbed by the gentleman who slept on the second floor of the bed I slept in. I am really sorry about that.. because this hotel is one of my favorite places in Paris. Thank you.

Very disappointing experience — not worth the money. The property was extremely congested and had an unpleasant smell. The charging sockets were not working properly, which was very inconvenient. The bathroom was also far too small and uncomfortable. Overall, the stay was disappointing, and I genuinely feel that I wasted my money. I expected much better for the price and would not recommend this property. I need refund because your charging port are not working

The room itself was perfectly adequate for a triple room / what my friends and I had paid for. Staff were polite and helpful. Very near train and metro stations. The room had very clearly not been cleaned, the sheets had stained and full of (other people's) hair. my friend dropped her damp towel on the floor accidentally and when she picked it up it was covered in scum and grime. the area was fine at day, but over the three nights we stayed, we were woken up at early hours of the morning by shouting or fighting. The shower cubicle was also in the dormitory, which was not made clear while booking and could be daunting for other groups (definitely didn't have any sense of privacy). there was only one toilet on our floor, which was tiny, and was shared with up to 9+ people.

It was central, with shops, restaurants and easy access to transport. The views of Paris from the 6th floor were amazing. I’m not sure the website states that this property has 7 floors with no access to a lift and narrow stairs to the rooms The first time I became aware of this was when I received a message from the owner pointing that they mainly cater for the under 40s because of not having a lift, but don’t mind hosting older guests. The staircase was narrow and difficult to navigate with luggage. I was given a room on the 6th floor.

Clean hostel and staff are nice. Bed is very comfortable to sleep in. You cannot sit on your bed.
