The location was great, I was so happy that they had a kettle, and refrigerator. They had water in the main floor. I wish they had face and hand towels

    Because I like it

What I liked about the property was that I had really nice sleep and I loved the location in which the property was. The train station is right outside of the hotel and it’s so easy to get around anywhere in Paris. You can get somewhere within less than 30 minutes by taking the metro so I really enjoyed that. This hotel is not clean whatsoever. For instance, the showerhead had debris and mold, so I could not take a proper shower. It’s a very old building so if you look up at the ceiling corners of the room, you can see paint fading. The kettle pot in my room was filthy It had old debris of milk that was warmed up in that kettle, so it was a very slimy texture could not use the kettle. The rooms are extremely small, but I will say it is doable. If you are a solo traveler that wants to stay at a good location. Lastly, one of my biggest pet peeves is that there is not someone at the desk 24 seven especially after 9 PM and if there’s no one at the front desk, you literally have to either ring the bell from the outside or if you’re on the inside, trying to get out for an early morning flight, you practically have to scream for someone to come downstairs to open up the door. So I’d highly suggest that they work on having someone either sit there 24 hours so that I can accommodate all guest at all times because no one wants to be stuck coming in or out of the building during late hours or early mornings of the night.

The bed was very bouncy and since the bed is narrow for 2 people it was a little challenging to share a bed without making the other person bounce when one moves or gets out of bed.

All the staff at the front desk were nice. The space itself was functional (the room safe was a nice bonus). There are good restaurants and cafés nearby, including an excellent Thai place. Overall, super location within Paris and for public transportation. My room faced the street where partiers from a nearby nightclub would pour out at 4-5am and whoop it up. There's nothing the hotel can do about it, of course, but if you're a light sleeper -- consider. The shower only has an all-in-one shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispense, so you might want to bring your own stuff.

The room was dirty and outdated. Air conditioning didn't work. I had to ask for a pillow. How this dump gets 3 stars is a mystery, but I certainly won't take the chance on that category again.

Decent property, it was clean and staff was lovely.

I chose the location as I wanted something close to Gare Montparnasse - this is a 3 minute walk, so very convenient. Elevator available - unless you get put on 6th floor (you walk up one set of stairs from fifth floor). Staff were helpful and available 24/7. I was able to leave my bags at the front before checking in (I pretty much dropped it off at 9:30 AM and came back at 10 PM to check in without any issues) and then later when I checked out. The air conditioning /filtration was very weak. It hardly did anything and I was better off just opening the window. If anything, my throat started to itch/nose was stuffy when I turned it on, which is likely due to some ventilation/filtration issue like excess dust, etc. Perhaps this is why the French claim AC makes you sick!

    wi-fi problem; very small room

I gave the big happy face about the night clerk who also happened to be the morning clerk. He was friendly and kind and generous. Room? I’ve seen automobile trunks bigger that that room. I’m joking but the room was literally a squeeze. I’m traveling alone but if I had a companion on this trip the room surely would have been too small.
