Hotel de la Tamise

The hotel is in such a great location to see the sites. The staff are lovely and helpful and the rooms well equipped. Nothing!

Hotel was fine, nice location, we were able to leave luggage before check in and were offered to leave them after check out. Rooms were clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. I was very disappointed by the hotel’s payment practices. The booking terms stated "no prepayment needed", yet the hotel placed a €317 pre-authorization hold on my card for 3 weeks before my arrival. The hold was only released after check-out, meaning my funds were blocked for 3 weeks IN ADDITION to the payment made on site. To be clear: this was not a temporary hold instead of payment, but an additional hold running alongside the full cost of the stay, which temporarily tied up over €600 of my funds. I strongly advise future guests to be aware that their funds may be frozen well in advance, despite what the booking conditions suggest.

The staff, although I chose it blind for its location to Museums. Every concierge was excellent. They found several great restaurants that we enjoyed. They have a lovely breakfast where Sayah is very attentive. N/A

When I was planning a visit to Paris with my husband and two friends to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversaries I spent a long time researching city centre hotels. The reviews from Hotel La Tamise were very good and we decided to book three nights there. We were absolutely not disappointed. It’s a fabulous hotel! The location is wonderful – opposite the Tuileries Gardens and a stone’s throw from the Louvre in one direction and the Place de la Concorde in the other. The staff at the Tamise couldn’t have been more helpful and it’s one of the best welcomes to any hotel we’ve had. Everything explained and a glass of Champagne! The added bonus we had was being able to see the Tour de France cyclists travelling down the Rue de Rivoli from our bedroom windows! I honestly can’t praise this hotel enough.

The staff were so amazing, friendly, courteous, escorted me to my taxi out front. It was like home away from home. Would highly recommend this as a lovely place to stay.

Location was good and staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean. Rooms were very small, bathroom was nice but again very small. There was no mini fridge in the room which meant we couldn't keep water provided cold, which was much needed during summer. Breakfast was very simple.

The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. They were genuine with interactions they had with every guests. They also provided a booklet of recommendations for guests, which was very thoughtful.

Overall a great stay at a beautiful boutique type hotel (no big lobby) with truly incredible staff.

The staff at Hotel La Tamise are some of the nicest hotel staff I have ever met. They are kind and super helpful, often going out of their way to help you in any way possible. From restaurant recommendations to shopping guides, they are ready to help with everything! Adding to the kind staff, the location itself is perfect. You can walk to the Louvre and most attractions in and around the city. It's also super close to public transport options like the metro.

Great friendly staff. Easy check in and out. And great location Breakfast is ok but can be improved and more beautifully presented. I am celiac and there was no option the first day.

Staff and location are excellent for touring Paris museums. Breakfast was terrific and welcome from team was 1st rate. Thx. Access to a gym or health club would have been an excellent addition
