Fabulous location, with many restaurants in the area, easy access to public transportation.

I needed an affordable hotel within walking distance of Montparnasse train station and Hotel Delambre was perfect in both regards. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, near the historic cafes of Boulevard Montparnasse as well as Montparnasse Cemetery with famous graves such as Baudelaire, John Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. As with most older hotels in Paris, the room was small but very clean with a coffee maker, comfortable bed, air conditioning and great shower.

Room met expectations and thank goodness had A/C as this was during the hottest days ever in Paris. Staff were really great and helped return a e-reader that I accidentally left behind. Great location next to the train station and metro and lots of bars and restaurants in the area.
-
Excellent location with lots of restaurant options and a lovely market on the day we arrived. Very close to Gare Montparnasse but in a quieter area.

Friendly staff and great location You can hear the doors slamming in the hallway but other than that it was great!

My beautiful spacious air-conditioned room and bathroom.

The breakfast buffet had a good variety-loved the scones and location!!! larger seating area would have been nice-maybe next to check-in counter...

Decor is clean but tired. Looks like old fashioned hotel from 79s

The bed was not comfortable at all.

Beds hard, rooms small, location on street side noisy.

I really enjoyed the location. The neighborhood is very lively, safe, and clean. It is extremely convenient, with metro line 6 at Edgar-Quinet station nearby, and Montparnasse hub just a few minutes’ walk away, offering easy connections to the rest of Paris (lines 4, 12, and 13). This is an ideal area for exploring the Left Bank: Hôtel des Invalides, Musée d’Orsay, Le Bon Marché, the Panthéon, Jardin du Luxembourg, and even Notre-Dame are all within walking distance (around 40 minutes). The neighborhood also offers many excellent Breton crêperies, as well as a wide choice of restaurants and lively bars. Regarding the hotel itself, I really appreciated the traditional French-style breakfast. If you are from the US, you might find the coffee different, as it is classic filtered coffee, but Nespresso pods are available for an additional fee. In terms of comfort, although the rooms are quite small, having a bathtub is very enjoyable. This is quite rare in Paris. Additionally, the room is very quiet, clean, and restful. Finally, it is a pleasure to stay in a hotel with such a rich cultural history, where painters and writers once lived. I do not have any major complaints. However, I was not entirely comfortable with having to return my room key to the staff each time I left the hotel. While I understand this is done for safety reasons, it slightly reduces the sense of freedom and privacy.

So convenient to Gare Montparnasse

Clean, well located, great staff. Near to laudrette. noisy at night <2.30am and again 6am onwards. C’est Paris
-
Lots of shops nearby for food or anything else that can be needed.
-
The location is perfect, near to restaurants, brasseries, and the metro. The room is small, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The bathroom is a bit outdated buntline.
-
nice staffs. bathroom is clean, bed and pillows are comfy, has a kettle, has a lift, no bugs, on a very safe clean quiet street . market, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and metro stations are few minutes away. (Buy fresh squeeze orange juice and yellow plums from the market on the same street- they are so sweet and cheap) small room , no fridge, heavy key so you have to give the front desk your room key each time you leave and get it when you return. no escalator or elevator at any nearby metro stations.
-
A very nice hotel conveniently located near lots of restaurants and quite close to Montparnasse train station.
-
The location, perfect for us. We like that we were given the view of the street that we had asked for. Nothing really. Smaller rooms than our usual hotel but good size for Paris.
