The room was quite small for two people, and we noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drains. The street outside was also fairly noisy, even late at night. Additionally, it would be nice if they provided basic cutlery like spoons in the room.

We had such a lovely stay at Hôtel du Savoir and would absolutely recommend it. The location was amazing, perfect for exploring Paris, and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated with so much charm. The service was excellent throughout our stay. Everyone we spoke with was so kind, friendly and helpful. We happened to see Frédéric almost every day, and he was wonderful. He always took the time to chat with us when we came downstairs, gave us great recommendations and was just incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. It was really hot in Paris while we were there, and when we arrived they already had the air conditioning on and the room cooled down for us. It was such a thoughtful touch and made a huge difference after travelling in the heat. Our room was so cute and beautifully decorated, and overall we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Amazing location, wonderful service and such a lovely team. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Paris!

The staff were very helpful as well. My flight was delayed and they allowed me to check out 3 hours late which was very considerate.

Excellent customer service support and the room was very well laid out/equipped given its size. Loved the small balcony with its lovely view of Notre Dame.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The staff was great, they did everything to get the room ready before 3pm. Room was nice and lived the view from the balcony. Bathroom is too small.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

No lobby. String aroma of something like incense terribly noisy and hazardous bathroom space making suboptimal value

The staff is excellent. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was great. The bed was super comfy. The shower was excellent. The room had everything you needed. The hotel is a few feet away from a famous restaurant the Polidor which was haunt of Hemingway and featured in the movie... Midnight in Paris. The size of the lobby (6 feet by 8 feet.... i measured) and the size fo the staircase (3 feet wide) was very challenging and uncomfortable. There is no place to sit in the lobby due to the small size. The elevator had room for one person at a time. I was on the 5th floor and chose to walk the staircase. My room had a nice balcony. Unfortunately the location of the hotel is adjacent to a very loud street, so had to keep the windows closed most of the time due to police sirens, which are constant in the Latin Quarter now.

My room was nice and comfy, very clean and with a little balcony with a great view. Bathroom shower worked well, and wifi worked well too. There is a tiny elevator, for bringing your luggage to higher floors. I wish there was a little coffee setup in the room, but there is a tiny espresso maker at reception you can use. Not negative necessarily, but do be aware there there is no real lobby, no shared spaces or seating, etc. Your room is it, so make sure you get one you'll be comfortable in!

My first time in Paris couldn’t be better. The room was very comfortable, and location perfect. Staff was very friendly and provide us with excellent restaurant recommendations.

Location in the St. Michel area was perfect! Near the Metro stop, Notre Dame, the Seine and the Bat-o-Bus (Hop on-Hop off boat). Room was smaller than expected.

Clean and comfortable, very well situated Hardly can find anything to claim for

  • Engine customer Mar 2026

Great experience, the room had a view of Notre-Dame, and it is within walking distance to Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, Museum of Cluny, Sorbonne, etc. Nice room, very comfortable bed, the hotel has extremely clean facilities. The staff is extremely nice, all of them, so helpful! Kudos to Aurelien especially. The elevator is a bit tiny. Paris is a pricey location. The prices are even higher in this area. The breakfast room is undergoing renovation, so we could not have breakfast here.

Wonderful location in the heart of St Germain. Cozy little hotel with a nice design. Room is small, but you have everything what you need! Even coffee machine and elevator (which is not typical for an old historical building). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Bed is very comfortable in the room.

    beautiful rooms! -

  • Engine customer Feb 2026

Room very small, lack of lobby or reception area

  • Engine customer Feb 2026

Lovely property in an excellent location. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Paris. We were on the fourth floor, which made it tricky with our luggage as there is no elevator, but definitely wouldn’t put me off staying here again.

Very clean and well maintained. It’s tight and compact but it’s Paris! Could use some space to unload my suitcase.
