Hôtel Locomo - Gare de Lyon Bastille

Clean and comfortable room with fun decor and a lovely fresh breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Perfect for a stopover in Paris. Friendly welcome (with cake!), nice room and good breakfast. Short walk from Gare de Lyon.

Overall the staff was nice, until... until I noticed I had bedbugs bites. When I went to tell them, first so that they can do something about it for the next customers, also so they can offer me a refund, they were suspicious : I showed them and I took pictures, but still, they were not very cooperative. Then I went to get my bag from the conciergerie and one piece was broken. In the end, they offered a 25% refund (I have been through bedbugs before, twice, and every time a full refund was offered). Also I was put in a room downstairs where a guard stays all night near the door, which made me feel uncomfortable, and I stayed out instead of relaxing at the hotel.

The hotel is close to the train station and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet, and the staff were very friendly. They were able to reserve a taxi for my husband and me for the airport. Free coffee and tea are available. The shower was small, but it worked and had hot water.

Very peaceful room at the rear of the property. We were tired from a long, delayed train journey and found the stairs awkward and a bit difficult to negotiate.

Convenient space to Gare De Lyon. We were catching an early morning train the day after we arrived in Paris which made it easy for us to use our evening exploring and being able to easily walk to the station the next day Very tight room. Difficult to use the toilet as you can’t sit straight due to the wall being right in front of you.

good location, very close to Gare de Lyon, clean room I was told at the reception that I could not pay the city (tourist) tax with cash money, apparently that was the rule of the hotel. That is unacceptable as cash money is STILL a valid method of payment. When I heard that the breakfast also needed to be paid by credit card I decided to NOT have breakfast in this hotel as there are 100s of other places close by Locomo hotel where you can have breakfast and who accept cash money.

Everything! Lovely room with big, comfy bed. Very nice, helpful staff. Had to walk up stairs to lift, but the receptionist helped me with my case, so not a big problem.

A lovely hotel, close to station and easy to find. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable and spotless. Air con was great. Breakfast was available but we had an early checkout so didn't sample it. Smelled good though! There was a strange damp smell in the room, worse in the bathroom. The walls were thin, although the double windows kept out all of the street noise. There is a lift but it is half way up a narrow flight of stairs which wasn't a problem for us but could be for people with mobility issues.
