Hôtel Muguet

Location Where do I start? First of all the bathrooms were filthy and full of black mold. We had to shower with our sandals on to avoid any contact with the floors. The only thing the bathroom came with was a bar of soap to offer for cleaning. Nothing else. There are no irons in your room to use. You have to go into their creepy basement to use their one iron that can’t be taken out of this small basement room. The WORST PART, NO MATTER WHAT DO NOT USE THEIR RECOMMENDED CAR SERVICE. Se planned to go to Versailles. Uber was $30. The man at the desk told us not to worry and they had a service that would be able to take us for NO MORE THAN $40. The driver manipulated his taxi meter when we arrived making the total jump from $40 to $65 euros. I told the hotel manager that Uber was charging me $30 and they guaranteed me no more than $40 for the trip. When I complained they did nothing. When I returned the front desk said I got scammed but did nothing to fix the problem. Are they working together to scam tourists. It sounds like it to me. BEWARE TOURIST THIS PLACE DOES NOT CATE ABOUT YOU. Nothing was done to compensate me or make me feel like this was taken seriously by them. I hope you think twice about booking at this location. On top of all this their checkout was 11am when everywhere else in Paris 12pm is standard. I will be posting this review on as many sites as I can to warn tourist of their scheme. I am including photos of the black mold so you can see how disgusting their bathrooms were. Shame on this establishment and I hope you don’t make the same mistake we did. You’re better off finding a better hotel who values your experience. This was our wedding anniversary and we hope you don’t have to experience this same nightmare at this hotel as we did. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HOTEL MUGUET. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

Beautiful property. Updated bathrooms, air conditioning, comfortable beds. It felt safe and in a quiet location still close to everything.

The location is excellent! I would definitely cone back to that hotel. The staff are really nice too. What i didnt like, booking.com sucks! They're not like expedia that updates their client. I emailed booking.com many times and no single reply.

We have been staying at Hotel Muguet since the late 1990s. We have seen three generation of ownership and they are all wonderful. Being around the corner from Rue Cler is a splendid bonus! We asked for a room in the garden and they accommodated us which was magnificent. Clearly, we will stay there every time we are in Paris. Thank you for a great experience, once again. NOTHING!

Location near Rue Cler was great. Sergio is an excellent concierge, helping us navigate Paris, finding good restaurants, and getting us tickets for a museum we thought was sold out.

Wonderful location, clean and comfortable rooms

Loved the location, staff, and the room were super clean. They ares Chris led to clean the room daily. You leave your room key at the counter when going out for the day for security-which I loved. The staff spoke English and were so sweet and kind. They played the FIFA games in the lobby. Staff always at the front desk-24/7-for anything need. Laundromat 1 block away which was convenient as well as cafes, metro, tabac, and grocery stores. Wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t eat the breakfast because it didn’t have options for my diet.

Everything! Excellent location, friendliest staff, clean facility, great breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer! Front desk staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We love to walk and were able to walk to every major Paris site. Nothing. This hotel was perfect!

All of the staff were so friendly and super helpful during our stay! I would highly recommend it was very clean and everything was just perfect the whole stay!! We were less than a mile from the Eiffel tower which made for a nice walk. It was just a great location to see so much of the city!

The staff is amazing. I loved being close to rue Cler. The air conditioning was wondeful during the heat wave! The room is very tight, there in no mini fridge. It was very noisy

Such a lovely hotel. Super kind staff. Great location, steps from the Eiffel Tower and the lovely Rue Cler for morning pastries. Definitely recommend!

The staff were excellent! Very helpful and welcoming. 2 block walk to Rue Cler which is a street with several good restaurants, grocery and fruit market.

Clean and modern Close to many attractions and cafes etc

The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. We felt truly welcomed and taken care of. The pillows weren’t too comfy and we couldn’t understand the air conditioner. But the decor was nice.

I love that everything was close by. And were lots of wonderful cafes, restaurants, and sites to see in walking distance. And the breakfast was really good!! The room that I saw in the pictures was not the exact room that I got, and it was much smaller but it was clean and cozy. Loves it!

The staff was fabulous ?, there were challenges, train strike, marathon race blocking the streets and the worked diligently to help! Can't say enough about how wonderful Sergio, Maria and the others. Highly recommend! As with all Paris hotels it's a bit smaller than a typical hotel (unless you're in New York City). The accommodations worked fine and the breakfast was good value.
