We had to make a last-minute choice and the location, price, but mostly the air-conditioning brought us here. I was fearful as we knew nothing about it and grew concerned walking up the short flight of stairs to the lobby, which worried me as it's far from spacious or luxurious, but once we got to the room, I was delighted. We were pleased with the air-conditioning (all important during the heat wave) and then lit up seeing that the small room offered - a fridge, comfortable bathroom with a unit to hang your clothes to dry, soaps and whatever you need. The hotel is steps from the Metro and in a nice section of the 7th. It didn't look like much, but the bed was extremely comfortable, as was the bathroom. There was a safe and I felt pleased to be there. It's not luxurious, but truly comfortable and fine. The elevator moved more slowly than I do - and I'm in my eighties, but it was quiet, had a good, flat screen TV and wifi. Maybe because my expectations were low (and we didn't have many choices as our flight back to New York was cancelled the day we were to leave and we had to find a place quickly. Regardless, unless you're extremely picky, I think it's a good choice

The location and the bed nothing

The location was very good with lots of shops and restaurants very near, also buses and metro and the area felt very safe. The rooms were clean with a modern bathroom and shower. Lots of stairs - there was a small elevator but you had to go up stairs just to get to the elevator or even to get to reception. This is fine for younger people who have absolutely no issues with doing a lot of stairs. Also, the price for the breakfast was ridiculous for what you received and had to eat in the cramped area next to reception - go out to one of the nearby restaurants for breakfast.

The location was exceptional as it was close to the Eiffel Tower with easy access to other sites. Rue Cler with its many restaurants and food markets is only a block away. We stayed at Royal Phare several years ago and booked it again because of our positive experience. We were pleasantly surprised by some thoughtful additions to the room. Absolutely not a problem for us, but some may find the elevator quite small. That being said, we love that there is an elevator!

Good location Staircase is clunky. It is too basic.

The room(clean, shower, bed, room size) and the location(2 min on foot to Eiffel tower)are very good. There is a parking(with payment but it's not an underground parking and i like that)just near(2 min walking)the hotel. The elevator it's very small.

Fabulous location: steps from metro École-Militaire, around the corner from Rue Cler lined with cafes, shops, restaurants, and. 2 blocks from the Champ-de-Mars and Eiffel Tower. Staff: consistently helpful and pleasant staff. Accommodations: Very comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms, and very good showers in this 28 room hotel. This is my second stay and I will return on my next visit to Paris. This stay included 3 rooms for my family of 6 adults and everyone was very satisfied. Others have commented on room size: We all thought the room size was certainly acceptable and similar to many other hotels in Paris.

Amazing location literally perfect you're in the middle of everything, only 10 minutes walk to eiffel tower big carrefour right underneath the hotel and most importantly metro station literally 5 steps away from the hotel's exit, and on top of that staff are friendly and genuinely nice. First of all the elevator is a joke it could barely fit me alone and the room absolutely tiny but all of this was okay until you get to the room itself, the bed sheets and pillow sheets stink it made it hard for me to fall asleep,AC would disconnect out of nowhere, room advertised as having a safe inside for valuable items but there was no safe, and the worst thing of it all the construction happening right infront of the windows, like if there's someone working they could see through your room.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The location is great. Not far from the Eiffel tower..there is a grocery store next to the hotel also.Tower. There is scaffolding in front of the door of the hotel so it was easy to find when returning to it. Once you enter the hotel, there are steps to go up to the elevator landing and then more steps to the lobby. The elevator was very small too. The concierge was so very helpful with our bags and couldn't have been nicer.

The staff made my stay great. Very accommodating, courteous and willing to help. I wish I was able to have breakfast on the premises but it was not a deal breaker because the location was excellent. Very easy to make connections and explore. I will definitely be back later this year.???????

Very well located, right in front of the metro and beside a grocery store. Also with a 5 min walk you can see the Eiffel Tower. Staff were friendly and had a very pleasant stay. Shower was a little dirty with mold and pink spots

Location was great, facade of building was being renovated and scaffolding in front of it but still was great. Carrefour conveniently located next to hotel, wash and dry place around the corner, boulangerie nearby too, fresh fruits and OJ stall nearby, walk to Eiffel Tower and Napoleon’s tomb 12 minutes away. Staff were great, specially Farid, very helpful. Only thing was elevator was super tiny, literally for 3 people with no luggage, not a big deal honestly. I would recommend and stay again when visiting Paris.

Great location they have renovations going on wand would have been nice to know ahead of time the staff was friendly Renovations blocked the view from the room and would have been nice to have a heads up before booking

The room was cozy and comfortable, and fortunately, I had a room with a great little balcony view, plus another little balcony in the washroom area, which provided a lot of natural light. The location is perfect since there is a sizable supermarket directly below and a major train stop as well. Another plus is the endless 4.5 and above star restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walk. The elevator, however, was super tiny, so I had to make separate trips with luggage, and I wish the room had a microwave.
