Hôtel Saint-Roch

I liked nothing about this place. The bathroom was old and dirty. The hotel had no air conditioning and Paris was in the middle of a heatwave. The staff was rude, the elevator was broken, and the room was gross. They put me on the highest floor with a fan - completely unacceptable. Also, you have to leave your room key at the front desk every time you leave.

The location was perfect, that staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, everything was great!

The AC didn’t work properly

The location was right in the middle of all the touristy parts and every popular monument was a few minutes walk. The room itself was quite smaller than I expected. There was little storage and not enough room to fully open my luggage. The bathroom was small, but separate from the bedroom which was good. The bathroom curtain was very dirty and should've been replaced. The curtains of the bathroom and bedroom windows were very dirty. The lights also turn off by themselves, so it would be pitch dark existing and entering the hotel room.

Location. Comfortable and clean. Loved the narrow winding staircase. So Parisian! Reasonable price with three beds. Close to the Louvre, River.

Lot of stairs

Large room, comfortable beds. Excellent location. Extremely nice staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome.. lobby and stairwell needs updating.

The location was really good and safe. The hotel stuff was very kind and helpful. Room was clean. The room was very small, I could barely open my luggage. Another problem was that the shower doesn’t have doors so that each time I shower all the way down the bathroom were sinking.

Maël at the front desk was just fantastic: friendly, funny and helpful in every way.

The location of this hotel is perfect for touring, especially a first time tourist of Paris. Easy to get to every mail attraction. We used the hop on/hop off boat which was a small walk away Not a big deal, but my room on the 3rd floor has a weird step situation getting onto the platform. Not a big deal, but just made it tricky to get in the door with luggage.

Amazing location Very old and desperate need for renovation

I arrived early but I was very tired after long flight. The staff let me in when I arrive and that’s so considerate. The street is very quiet, and the location is perfect for a tourist who wants to quickly go through the major spots in Paris. When taking shower, water flew to the floor and make the room a little humid.

There is a bit of noise from the street at night. There is a kindergarten/school near the hotel and we could hear the kids screaming outside.

Great location for this nice hotel. Good sized room with comfortable bed. The trip was made special by the excellent, friendly, and efficient service provided by Mael. Have stayed here before and will stay here again. Got a room on the street side. It was noisy on Friday night, so had to keep window closed and use ear plugs. It was difficult to regulate the heat.
