Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel felt safe. Met Zayn in the morning who treated me to coffee and had a very nice conversation getting to know each other. He made the place feel like a home away from home. The space was tight (which I expected) and didn't feel the cleanest. Bathroom had a medium sized bug living inside.

The staff is amazing, really helpful and attentive. They made us feel like regulars. The food is also great, has the feel of a local cafe but generous portions.

It’s conveniently located to everything I wanted to visit, my room was adorable and clean, and Zayn rules. I came ill-prepared for the rain as I’m hiking the Camino and have only my essentials. He literally gave me his umbrella and offered me his jacket. And he’ll joke with you from the get.

The location and the staff It didn't have an elevator, but, nonetheless, they were a great help in carrying my suitcases up.

Very familiar atmosphere. Lovely staff. Super clean. Nothing.

The bed is comfortable enough and it's clean. The single room is tiny, not like in the pictures. The neighbourhood is really shady at night. Hookers in every corner. the walls are super thin, so forget about sleeping in.

Stairs, but that's life and I knew to expect it

The Staff is very friendly and available. The room is good value for the price, but the location is very not ideal. People were fighting in the streets for at least an hour before the cops came. The room is very small, and I was surprised by the shower placement. My fridge wasn’t working properly. The kettle wasn’t emptied, which is gross.

Welcoming and helpful staff, clean room with facilities. The area during evening get little sketchy, but it's Paris ;)

Nice staff Narrow rooms , and some insect bite me may hands and body, not sure which but it was during night

The staff was all excellent! Zayid was so helpful and friendly!

Clean bed Where do I start ? I don’t want to be negative too much because I feel like they were trying their best and hardest to accommodate me. So what I will say is if you spend most the day exploring and come back just to sleep. And eat their good food. Sure The space tho? No! I love good space. At least enough to walk freely. The room smell I can’t get out my nose and the fridge did not work. I was too in a rush to even bring it up. The location immediately shut my excitement down for Paris! I’m sorry ! IT WAS GIVEN THIS IS NOT SAFE! First impression ! However, the second day the guy at the front stays all night. That made me feel a little better. The steak and fries was the highlight of the hotel. Must say, it was the second decent meal I had in Paris altogether and. I ate a lot !

Close to Metros and and 15 minute walk to Montmarte. Room very basic (spartan even) but clean. Reception attentive to requests and carried my luggage up to my room without even a request by me (in my 60s) which I appreciated. Area seems possibly unsafe at night so I would make sure I was back at the hotel shortly after sunset. Noise from the street abated by 11 the first night but continued through most of the night on second with loud conversations outside accompanied by sound of a guest in room above preparing to depart at 3 or 4 in the morning.

The owner and staff were simply terrific, extremely accommodating, highly responsive to our needs and requests, very cordial and friendly, and well-spoken in English. Zane even made a point of apologizing for street noise outside our window, when the nature of the noise was completely disjoint from the hotel and out of their control or influence. Upon check-in Zane and the owner immediately took our bags up the stairs; we don't know if that is standard for every guest, but at our age we had been a little apprehensive about the hotel not having an elevator, so of course our concerns were immediately put to rest. The hotel location is well served by local shops and by the Metro system, the hotel wi-fi works quite well, and there is an adjoining coffee bar and small restaurant immediately off the lobby (from which Zane offered us plates and dinnerware the night we came back from the nearby grocery store arms loaded with food for our eat-in dinner that night in our room). Well, of course one understands that the size of the room and the nature of the furnishings can always be elevated if one is willing to spend a great deal more on the accommdation. But let's be clear: the room was perfectly suited for our needs, clean and well attended to, meaningfully equipped and at a terrific price point. We will use this opportunity to offer two suggestions to the owner: first, consider installing a hook on the back of the bathroom door for hanging one's post-shower robe or t-shirt; second, our room was equipped with a small refrigerator but we do not recall that this feature was included on the description we read when we made the reservation on booking.com.

the staff was very respectful and kind. I had an emergency situation and both morning and night staff were very humane and showed support . thank you so much

The staff was very welcoming and kind. They introduced us to the city and ensured we had a comfortable stay. The neighbourhood is very lively, however after 11pm it gets more quiet and luckily the windows are well insulated.

The hotel is pretty nice too, no frills, but pretty good.

Walk only a few minutes from metro station to hotel. Location is convenient for visiting Montmartre. Room is clean. Zayn & Assia are very friendly and helpful.

The room is clean and has just enough floorspace to do stretches in the morning. Supplies for tea and a kettle are provided. Conveniently between two metros, Château Rouge and Marcadet-Poissonniers. There is a bar restaurant downstairs, but I didn't use it. They let me leave my luggage after I checked out, no charge. The stairways are narrow and steep. The neighbourhood is busy and loud. It looks rundown from the outside; there is no lobby for guests to hang around.
