Great location - the road has many great coffee shops and places to eat, while not being crazy busy. I had a single room, which was very spacious for Paris, and well laid out. The staff were all super friendly staff too Everything was great!

The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the lounge area was great to relax in. It was a great place to stay. We had no view from our room window but it didn't really bother us as we were only there for sleeping.

The location is great. The A/C is master controlled by the front desk and they don’t allow it to be set below 22 degrees, which was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Even after asking the front desk to remove the restriction, they did so only briefly.

The location in the Marais is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to Place des Vosges and lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops. The afternoon tea in the lounge is a unique feature. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are serviced daily and everything was clean and comfortable. Not necessarily a dislike, but 2 aspects of the hotel to be aware of are: guests are expected to turn their room keys in to front desk staff whenever you leave the hotel and then collect them when you return. The front desk is staffed 24/7 so this was not an issue for me, although it is a somewhat unusual practice. Second is that there are no coffee/tea amenities in the rooms. The afternoon tea service in the lounge begins at 4:00 and guests are permitted to take teapots and cups up to their rooms.

We liked the proximity of the hotel to 3 different nearby metro lines - one that links to Gare du Nord, which made travel easier. Incredible (and silent) air conditioning in temperatures of 41+ degrees was brilliant. There was a persistent leak in the bathroom that created a pool of water on the floor during the day (room 15) - nothing drastic.
