size of the room (we had the Privilege room); breakfast better than expected; location super close to a metro station. Nothing, everything met my expectations.

Close enough to Gare du Nord if you need to rent a car or take a train elsewhere. Lively area at nights. Small room. Not that you spend much in there, so wasn't really an issue. It was quiet and DARK, so sleeping late for jet lag was great.

Room was quite spacious for Paris. Location. TV kept coming on multiple times during the night and waking us up. We tried resolving this throughout the 1st night by switching it off, but it would come on repeatedly (3 times during night). Spoke to front desk and they didn’t know what to do. Second night, we removed batteries from remote and turned it off. It still spontaneously went on at 1am and 6am. Disrupted sleep. Elevator was out. Front desk staff often away from desk. Noise from street.

It’s in a very convenient location for those who want to be in/ near montemarte. Also pretty cheap given location but it maybe because it was early December? Staff were kind. Not over the top service but just want you’d expect given the price. The facility is a bit older and rooms are very oddly laid out. Elevator is extremely small but then again, what Paris elevator isn’t. Everything functioned fine, just old finishes and old bedding.

Nothing. It was doomed from the beginning. It all started when we arrived at the hotel which is embedded between two massive sex shops. Not a biggie as we new about the hotel being located at Pigalle. Anyway, I have stayed at literally 100s of Mercure and Novotels during my travels. But this Hotel is not Mercure Standard. Let me explain why: - The receptionist who behaved more like an accountant made us sign up to some loyalty program. Otherwise she would have charged us an early check-in fee. - We paid two nights full, and still she wanted a 100 Euros deposit just in case we destroy the room (We are 57 and 53 Years Old). - Wifi is not for free. She did not mention that there is literally no reception in the rooms. Eventually you will pay for it. - Breakfast is 28 Euros / Person (!!!!!) NO MERCURE, NO MATTER WHERE, HAS SUCH CONDITIONS. In order to get to the room you have to share the elevator with the cleaning stuff. Considering how tiny the elevator is, prepare for some wait time. The rooms were even for Paris on the tiny side. It is not big enough in order to put your suitcase on to the floor and open it. There is no coffee machine. Just a water heater and some instant coffee. From a four star hotel you can expect better. The bathroom is not even big enough for two people to comfortably stand in. The walls are so thin that we did not have a problem to follow the conversations of the guests next door and the floor above. But the bed with its concrete like mattress was the star of the show. We were both exhausted and just fell backwards onto the bed expecting a somehow decent mattress. Well, it was like a fall on to the ground. It was awful and painful. Definitely NO MERCURE STANDARD who pride themselves of their beds and mattresses. I strongly recommend to AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ANY COST. This is nothing but a well oiled money making machine which cost you 240 Euros / Night proving less than better Youth Hostel Standard. Long story short: We aborted after the first night and moved into another...

When I checked in I found out that I was one day earlier to my booking, but the reception staff were so kind and supportive and solved the issue immediately by amending the booking without any extra charge. A lovely gesture. The room was cozy and the hotel location was a walk away from many attractions and restaurants.

Location was good & staff were friendly & helpful - especially when we asked to change rooms due to the noise outside, the were able to move us straightaway to a room that wasn't road facing which was much better. The rooms unfortunately don't have AC, but rather heating units. I imagine in the depth of winter that this isn't an issue, but on a warm weekend the rooms were like a sauna through the night. Thankfully the windows do open so that helped a little.

Great location, directly on La Pigalle, close to Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, 10min walk to La Fayette and Opera Garnier. It is the „red lights” area, but there are a few restaurants there as well. I stayed only for 2 nights to watch a show at Moulin Rouge - it was super easy to get there (3 min), even with my high heels on. There are free Haribo gummy bears and croissants for for the guests at the reception. The staff is super friendly and helpful Everything was great, the only tiny disadvantage: no milk to my morning coffee in the room ? But there was a cafeteria and Starbucks near the hotel

Elizaveta the Receptionnist was super to help us to get started and we felt very happy about our choice after staying four nights there. Elizaveta and her colleagues are all extremely nice, which makes your really feel great about the hotel choice. Hotel has been very nicely renovated, and all the amenities are very nice. The hotel is on Boulevard de Clichy, we had stayed in an off street and liked the convenience and closeness to Montmartre without the tourist mass flow. Unfortunately this very nice hotel is located next to a huge sex shop which could be an issue for a family. After the hotel staff spoke to us, we felt pretty safe in the area and can recommend the hotel based on the very good staff and the price/quality ratio,.
