2. The owner, manager or receptionist kids and the cleaning lady were very nice and friendly. 1. Poor customer service Throughout my stay, I felt like I was a burden. Every question or request seemed to annoy the staff. 2. No laundry service There was no laundry available, so I had to travel into the city with my baby just to get clean clothes. 3. Incorrect charge and poor arrival management I was charged for 4 full days even though I only stayed for 3. I tried calling, texting, and emailing to inform them of my late arrival, but nothing worked. When I arrived in the evening, everything was closed and the place looked deserted. I had to go around in a taxi from hotel to hotel looking for a place to sleep that night. Despite this, the host still charged me the full amount and told me that if I didn’t pay, I should find another hotel. 4. Poor breakfast The breakfast was very disappointing. 5. No assistance with stairs There are many steps, and no one offered help. I had to carry my luggage, stroller, and baby up and down the stairs by myself. 6. Isolated and uncomfortable location The property is very isolated and feels unsafe. For two days, I was the only guest there; only on the last day did a couple arrive.

I liked the location and stuff was nice We stayed at the hotel from August 15-21, and we did not like their check in time frame (till 10pm) I did not like the hotel furniture either. They did not paint the hotel for years and furniture was very old and uncomfortable. The floor carpet is very old. We paid for Mountain View room but they locked the balcony door for whatever reason. So, my question is why did they charge extra for Mountain View room when they can’t let us use the balcony. We had breakfast included, but same boring menu every single day we stayed there for 6 days. We would’ve rated Austria 9 out of 10 but because of the hotel we can’t say we had a great time in Austria it was that upsetting. We go on a vacation for fun when you get an old room with old furniture to stay it’s just sad. $1118 was the cost for 6 nights without tax so with tax it was more costly.

Really beautiful property, old and charming but you feel the age. Could benefit from a renovation Hours for restaurant and food options not communicated well or advertised conveniently, neither are bus routes. Staff took our extra blankets and pillows away after one night without response as to why.

The best place that I have ever stayed. Very clean, staff is very kind.

Breakfast buffet was excellent!

Highly dedicated owners provide excellent service and outstanding food in a beautifully preserved historic building, owned for centuries by the royal Thurn und Taxis family. The service-to-price ratio was excellent.

Ample room and comfy beds, with a great staff and breakfast. We arrived late, and they facilitated a late check in. Woke up to the best view on earth.

I didnt realise that we had the breakfast included, which was a nice surprise. It did not disappoint and matched many of the fantastic Austrian breakfasts i had had many years before. Although the location was slightly out of the city, this is what we wanted, to live amongst the hillside. Access roads were good and there was a bus stop right outside the hotel. With the free bus transport included in the local tourist tax, it made life very easy to head into Innsbruck and enjoy the Christmas Markets and Glüwein without worrying about parking and driving home. The hotel was very suited to the countryside but it looked tired compared to other places. Although this added to the experience.

A wonderful historical mountain hotel with lots of original elements. The breakfast area was especially beautiful, very good breakfast also. The rooms and bathroom could use an update as they don't have the authentic feeling the rest of the hotel has.

It was very clean ,the staff was nice and polite . The room was big enough . Good place for a hotel ,right in the mountains, very close to the bus The fact that kitchen close at 20:00 ,can be a bit more late like around 22:00 .

The only property at the area, felt so private and secluded from busy Innsbruck city. Chef Hans hospitality is excellent, we felt welcome and at home. Breakfast is amazing, they provided us salmon and boiled eggs for halal food. Chef also provided us Innabruck card for public transport. Christmas decoration is amazing, felt lucky to stay in the historical building. I've shared photo of hotel from bus stop, very nearby. There is one time, we forgot to tell bus driver our destination, he skipped the Patschy Grunwalderhof bus stop. On the next time we always told the bus drivers and there were no problem.
