Quba by Montraj Pattaya, previously The Quba Hotel Pattaya

The rooms and style of the building were very interesting and had some good flair. It was a really neat hotel. The staff were super friendly and really went out of their way. Classic style and some nice touches for the theme. It actually has a theme instead of being boring and cookie cutter. It is in a decent area and its only a 12 minute walk to the mall. Coffee machine made good coffee. When people enter and leave their rooms the doors can make a lot of noise. The beds are very firm though that can be a preference. Breakfast was very simple and not of great quality that was expected. (It was cold by the time it reached our table. Salad items didn't seem very fresh. I read there was a buffet but it was very limited.) Might be due to the slower season but better ingredients and prep would make a big difference. Breakfast was the deal breaker for us. (Would have been happy paying a slightly higher stay price if required for an average or satisfying breakfast.)

Fantastic vibe Nothing

The staff especially the door man. Is excellent, he takes care of your luggage if you need to wait. He takes them to your room. He drives you to Pattaya in TukTuk or any other place near by. He really works so hard and his kindness is unmatched. The ladies at the front desk along with a few in the bar area are just amazing workers. I keep returning mainly because of the staff. The fridge in the rooms are the smallest and the worst. If they would have a bit more lighting or stronger light bulbs in room would be helpful. Hard to find items at times

Not a fan of all the food being out before I eat. Would enjoy to order it and cooked fresh. Don't eat breakfast at the Quba. I don't eat anything there. I have stayed here 4 times in a Year and a half. Will probably return. Fridge in rooms to small. Useless They can improve bedrooms LIGHTING

Everything was great.

Pool size was disappointing, more of a communal bath

Staff and cleanliness was good, a nice bar downstairs with food which was not bad but a bit overpriced. Location was alright around 10 minutes fast walk to soi buakhao. Air condition in the room was ok The pool was average as well as the gym. The air condition at the gym should be turned on all the time as it takes one hour to cool it down . Rooms are too dark. One of the lights also didn’t work but I didn’t bother staff with it . There just a lack of a natural light in them because the window is kinda colorful blurred glass and not a clear transparent one .Dont pay for breakfast - it’s not worth it

Great location and bonus point is the tuktuk service to the malls...negtive point from my side is that there is no halal food served for breakfast

Not well isolated, noise from street was very annoying

The hotel looks like effort was put into its retro Cuban design, and the staff is excellent. 1. The toilet leaked. I called the front desk twice to fix it, and I have no doubt they came to fix the leak, but it was unresolved. 2. In 2026, to not carry non-alcoholic beer in Pattaya is leaving money on the table. There are no nonalcoholic beer options. 3. If you do stay here, make sure you ask which building you're staying in, because if you stay in the building where the bar is, be ready for loud, nonstop music from noon all the way through 10 pm. And I do mean LOUD. Even when there is no one at the bar. I assume they want to attract outside customers, but it is relentless, and the music isn't even Cuban music; it's this awful blues/jazz you'd find in a 1988 Tom Cruise movie. 4. I came for the cigars, and they ran out of cigars. So I didn't smoke a cigar. 5. The food is bad. It's cold, and they were out of menu items. Management needs to go eat at a Cuban restaurant or at least look up proper Mexican food online. Nachos should be easy, but it's clear they had never even bothered to research what actual nachos look and taste like.

The location was great! It was close to everything but but in all the craziness I almost never had hot water and my door lock was a little funky. It is didn’t close right, it would beep at you.

The location was perfect and the staff friendly.

I enjoyed the employees and how hard they work to make a person feel cared for for. You have Terrible lighting in the rooms. Checking in at night. You are screwed cant see anything. You need stronger light bulbs. Someone is going to get hurt one day. You will have no way out of the problem. Literally no sufficient lighting. Lat the coolers in my rooms wont hold more then a couple small drinks. Not even a regular size can or bottle. SO LIGHTING AND THE NON EXISTING REFRIGERATOR OR COOLING BOX CAPACITY

Fast WiFi too! Nice, large shower, good water pressure as well! All in all pretty decent for the value of the room! I also loved the swimming pool, it is small but still pleasant to use. There is a nice bar/restaurant and cafe downstairs.. I used the cafe mostly. Coffee was really good!! The hallway was noisy at times like an echo chamber. It would be great if they could do something about this.

For me, the bed size is ok, but if you would prefer big one, I recommend that you have to check bed size
