There's a smell inside the room. I think it was coming from wooden furniture that absorbed humidity. It would be great if the hotel can remove that smell. The hotel key is very big. If you could get smaller key it would get into pocket much easier.

Great place to stay on the busy waking street but yet it's quiet once you enter the property. Room is big enough even for 3 pax to stay comfortably. Highly recommended ?

The main attraction for this property is its location. It is located on Pattaya Walking street and within 5 minute walk to the pier where you can pay for a nice boat ride to nearby tourist sites. The rooms are located off of Pattaya Walking Street so one can hardly hear the loud music played every night. The room was clean and fresh clean towels are provided daily. The staff is overly friendly. If you give them your dirty laundry before 9am, they have it ready in the afternoon and very cheap. The room has a fridge and a kettle pot is provided upon request. They do not have a 24 hour desk but they make arrangements to greet you and provide you with your room key upon arrival if you arrive late at night, and they make sure they have someone available if you leave very early in the morning. A 7-Eleven is located within a 5 minute walk as and several restaurants are nearby. It’s suitable for couples or solo travelers but I wouldn’t recommend it for a family with children. The furniture is in badly need of updating as well as the room. There was visible mold in the tub. Mosquitoes enter the room when you are careless in closing the door quickly as you go in and out of the room so the risk of contracting dengue fever is ever present. I found bugs in the room typical of Thailand. There was no security lock box in the room, so I made sure I carried my valuables i.e., passport, jewelry and money and locked my electronic devices in my suitcase every time I went out.

Staff was nice and helpful, they agreed to keep my main luggage a longer time in case I would spend a night on Koh Larn with just a backpack. Room was nicely done with spacious bathroom and enough space to put my things. And of course great location, and suprisingly quiet given the proximity to the walking street. Very close to the Bali Hai Pier to jump on a boat to Koh Larn. The river smell reaches the outdoor area upstairs (fortunately, this was not a problem inside the rooms and in the outdoor area downstairs)

This was my third stay at RS, and the small renovations and upgrades they've now made made all the difference! The air-con is great with optimum climate control, the lovely tropical garden is lovely for relaxing around at dusk (use mosquito spray) with an air of Zen about it, the room was perfect with comfy king size bed and good fluffy pillows, the bathroom was huge with good bath/shower, and the fridge was great. Two bottles of water each day and fresh towels, or full room clean if you need it by the amazingly friendly housekeeping ladies that are around all day to help with anything you may need. It's on Walking Street up the Bali Hai pier end, so is a little bit noisy with the large clubs up that way until about 2am, but if you've been out and about in South Pattaya all evening, you simply get used to it. If you like Mc Donald's or Taco Bell, they are only a few minutes walk away, as is a 7-11 and Pharmacy. If this place had a pool it would be paradise!! The hotel is behind the restaurant, a nice steak or sea food place that sells good well cooked BBQ or fresh lobster!! The other guests are mainly European, Persian and American/Canadian, are always happy to have a chat: age range 40 up. Although it's on the amazing and lively Walking Street, it's not a 'party hotel' it is a peaceful retreat from the party! If you want to sit outside of an evening and enjoy the atmosphere and garden, you need mosquito repellent! But you can buy a small spray from the Pharmacy across the street for about $3:00 (I bought 4 bottles and it lasted me six nights and worked very well, not one bite!

It's a great location in the day, but it gets understandably loud in the evenings. Enjoyed being a stone throw away from the beach and at the atmosphere.
