Altera Hotel and Residence

The room full fill my request for a nice private and quite room. The room is very spacious, clean, and had kitchen items as well. The washer is great! The staff is very friendly and always smiling. The chief cook even came to talk to us and asked us about how we like the food. The location is walking distance to Soi 6, Runway Market, and the local 7-11 for all your needs. The street food is at your door step. The entire stay has exceed my expectations! It rained. 555

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast buffet was good. The room was spacious and the hotel was close to a 7/11 and some shopping malls. After checking in we did not have a first good impression. The hotel did not meet our expectations and was in our opinion not value for the money we paid. We had to walk very far from the elevator to our room which was in the backside of the building. The corridor to the room was too dark. The view of the room was non existing and also the outside unit of the airconditioning was very loud which made it not easy to sleep. After requesting a room change, we got a room just above the lobby roof. Except from the distance to the only elevator this was not really an improvement. The outside unit from the airconditioning was still loud, the view was nothing and in the evening and night there was a lot of noise from motorbikes. Eventhough we stayed for one week, we don't think we will return in the future.

Nice clean hotel. Great location and very friendly staff. Special shout out to front desk staff “Porter” and another young lady whose name I didn’t get unfortunately. My girlfriend was sick upon arrival and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable! Thank you! ?

Sauna and pool Disrepair/damaged cabinets. Leaning refrigerator and standing light. My first thought was "did this area have an earthquake and they didn't inspect this room before booking people in it?" Otherwise great stay

We had a very good stay at Altera Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Everything I needed was there, and the hotel made my stay easy and stress-free. I also really appreciated the staff’s understanding and professionalism. I accidentally caused a small damage during my stay, and the hotel handled it kindly, without extra charges, which I found very decent and customer-friendly. Overall, I felt well treated and would gladly stay here again. Nothing major. Overall, everything was good and met my expectations.

It’s well located and a short walk to restaurants, convenience stores, local food markets etc. The Altera is modern and clean with terrific bedding, bath towels, large TV’s, and Japanese toilets in spacious rooms. The pool is so nice with lounge chairs and umbrellas, seating for poolside eating and a great staff at a poolside bar. The staff at the door and front desk are always smiling, helpful and professional. Housekeeping is thorough and friendly. Overall a well-managed property that’s priced well. The hotel is nice and quiet, short walk to the beach but it tucked in couple of blocks from Main Street that makes walking dangerous because of 2 ways traffic on a very narrow street with no sidewalks.

It’s super located, clean, with great service. We loved how Pen took care of us during breakfast (with her trainees) as well as cleaning ladies on our floors. It’s one of the better stays on our 2.5 months trip. Also it’s conveniently located between two big shopping centers, with plenty food options around. It’s best to choose rooms with pool view as they are more quiet. They offer great internet (~300Mbps) and when general WiFi was failing the sent a technician and setup a new network for our room only. Took them 20minutes in total. If I’d be super picky, I’d say the variety of food could be better - we stayed there for few weeks and it repeats a bit too much. But it’s still excellent. Like I said - it’s me being picky - not a real issue.

Two things stood out for me here: I absolutely loved the pool, it was one of the better ones, not necessarily the size of it, just the layout and the vibe of it, near the bar, plenty of loungers and the bar being next to the pool meant you could sit there at the bar and get late sun if you wanted it. The breakfast was the best breakfast for the price that I can remember having, really an outstanding value. The room was spacious and the bed was large, had full sized fridge, sink and balcony. It was another double bed pushed together to make a king bed but also very comfortable. The AC unit was wall mounted at the foot of the bed, blowing across the bed, but the air still hit me in the face at night, which is never preferable for me. I think adding some louvers to the unit where you can direct the air would be a great addition.

Great staff Pool area was nice Nice view from the room Room was a little beat up from the wear over the years. Could use a few touch ups. And the A\C unit was moldy. Very bad for anyone with allergies

We booked a Suite and it exceeded every expectation. The bed was soooo comfortable to sleep in. The balcony function allowed us to use to dry our clothes after using the provided washing machine helped us save the cost from going to laundry shop. Walking distance to Runway market and walking distance to near by mall. The housekeeping may need to do better job on this.

The staff was so friendly there , the rooms are really very comfortable. Fantastic beds Good food Gym is a desaster honestly.

During my stay, there was issues with shower head, water flow is low and the air conditioner was not strong enough. But main issue was tons of insects on the bed and pillows. It was not a pleasant stay and ruin my vacation.
