The room was large and clean and comfortable with all the amenities. There was free breakfast and a pool. Walking distance to Sanctuary of Truth. No elevator, no sign for wifi in the room.

Very nice, clean, great swimming, very good reception staff, and very nice room Shower drain was clogged and the sink had low water pressure

The pool facilities, the room and the amenities were wonderful. Wasn't much to not like. Was all good.

Good location, friendly staff, clean, big room. There was no exta lock from inside for safty.

Very good room space with very good proximity to the pool facilities. Nice drawers and closet space with plenty of room to keep stuff. Nice bathroom. The small, but good pool is very nice cause it's deep and good for swimming. The property has really fine decor with antiques and an actual display of readable books. There was an off scent from the bathroom drains which is typical in ground floor hotels. Swimming area can be crowded during peak hours.

I've expressed my full opinion about this hotel several times, have nothing to add. As before, my complaint is with the few guests who are ignorant and unaware of the rules of staying in a communal place or who know but deliberately don't follow them.

The location

Staff are very accommodating by assisting us on our Van transfer from Vientienne to Vang Vieng. Also he is gooing in speaking english. Staff are helpful too, i just forget the name of the staff. None.

Super spacious rooms. The location was absolutely great just walking distance from Sanctuary Of Truth. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. They serve breakfast at this price i think it's the best kind of stay anyone can get. Kudos to Three 7 Eleven nearby Anyone can walk to the main alley and hop on to Songthaew and go anywhere just paying a little amount as low as 10 Baht. No Elevators so, for people having issues taking the stairs can have problems.

I stayed at hotel for 2 weeks, it was a very good experience. The rooms were very clean, much cleaner than a more expensive hotel down the street. The pool was clear and always maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The staff went out of their way to clean and make sure the customer was happy. If you had a question there was always a happy face at the front desk to help you. Kai was always working day and night. This dedication usually only comes from owner, she is a real asset to this hotel. If I had a hotel I would want her there to keep it running properly. Coming from America I was worried about electrical outlets, no worries friends this hotel has electric plugs that work perfect for all your needs, my electric razor charged perfectly, my iPhone charged faster then in USA! The hotel was up to date and comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well in my room. It was cool and pleasant even though it was 82* in the morning and 92 during the day. There was always coffee and tea in the lobby for customers. The breakfast was available every morning like clock work. Toast with jam and little sausages were there for guests every single morning, if you wanted a special dish the staff was there to get it for you in minutes. Try the sausage porridge it was outstanding. There is a little restaurant 30 seconds outside the hotel that serves the best Thai food very cheap, kip is amazing cook you must try her food. Small street vendors everywhere and all you need from the 3- 7/11’s in a short walk. I can’t say enough about the staff here simply perfect! I will be back next year! I couldn’t stay forever! Had to go back to America! ☹️☹️☹️☹️ I love the southern star hotel
