The staff are incredible with all of the unique touches of remembering your name, your orders and what you like. Yes, nice breakfast and healthy choices for dinner at Forage restaurant. Too warm blanket/comforter that would encourage excess A/C.

A peaceful haven away from the hustle and traffic of uluwatu but close enough to ride into town when needed. The sauna and steam room were an added bonus! Nothing

Such a beautiful place. A hidden gem. Tropical gardens and so quiet. I used the yoga shala and spa amenities. The rooms are gorgeous and the restaurant exceptional. Heaps of vego and non vego options. Highly recommend. Wish I’d booked longer.

Pretty, quiet, mellow, great restaurant, amazing staff Location is isolated. Nothing to do unless you hire a car.

Beautiful property and rooms. So much accommodation- welcome drinks, honeymoon bed display, greeting as you entered and left the property. Everything was perfect! there was a lot of geckos outside and boy are they LOUD kept us ip some nights, but outside of the hotels control.

Yoga barn & restaurant were excellent? Unfortunately the yoga barn and pool were closed for two of the days we were hoping to spend time utilising the facilities during our stay?

We stayed in the antique traditional Javanese “bridal suite”, although it was very dark inside it was absolutely beautiful. All the bungalows are set in pretty gardens and the pool area was nice. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant outstanding quality food. A lovely way to end our holiday.

The location is alright We had a very bad experience in this hotel, we stayed there for 4 nights, and since we arrived at the hotel to the check inn, we saw this big Rottweiler dog in the office, who is own by the hotel owner. I personally felt a bit treated by the dog for the fact that is so big and he DIDN’T had a leash on at any moment, but the owner (who I repeat is the hotel owner too) told us that the dog (rottweiler) was totally harmless and very friendly, so we were fine about it. Everyday since then we saw the Rottweiler hanging around the hotel, just walking and running, that personally made us feel unsafe but again we didn’t complaint about it, we just trust what the owner told us “the dog is harmless” which now we know is not true!!! as he ATTACKED US on our last day there!!! , we wake up for breakfast, went out of our villa and the dog immediately run towards me and scratch my back, he tried to bite my arm and my head as he is literally the same side as I am (that’s how big he is) my husband try to distract him when he was attacking me, but then he proceeded to attack my husband, scratching his belly, back and legs. All the workers in the restaurant were watching the whole situation but nobody did anything to help us, they were just screaming the dog’s name, but nobody took the dog off us, (probably they were scared too) and also scared of their boss, as is HIS DOG, finally the dog (Rottweiler) got off of us after my husband was constantly trying to get him off. After that we tried to complain with the owner of the hotel (owner of the dog) but he wasn’t around, so we had to wait for him the whole morning, until he was back and finally got a word with him. His excuse of why the dog attack us, it was that the dog gets very nervous when he is not around. So I think if he knows that the dog gets nervous when he is not around why he lives the dog here??? Nobody had any authority over the dog !!!

Beautiful lush property. Cabin was super cute. The on-site restaurant was convenient and decorated really cool. Cabins are small and outdoor bathrooms are a bit unsheltered.

The location is good, just a bit outside of Uluwatu center in the quit and green. Way to expensive for what you get. The villa has seen better times and needs some renovation. It was not clean at all - every has staines, spider webs and dead insects everywhere (even in the bed). Not what I would expect in that price range - so not recommended.

This was the most perfect stay and the staff were so helpful with everything. During our stay i got sick and the owner gave us a ride to the nearest clinic, they were extremely caring and sought after our needs during our stay. We will definitely be back our next time in Bali. Nothing!

the location is very peaceful and yet close to all the main attractions. Staff is very friendly and polite. Design of the resort is excellent and very green The cafe is made completely of wood and serves great food and drinks. The owner lent me his own bike because my rented bike could only be delivered the next morning.

Truly such a joy! ?? We enjoyed a delightful stay at Kayu Mama for three nights. The pool was the perfect spot to unwind, our cabin was cosy and the outdoor bathroom was a beautiful place to connect with nature. The food at the onsite restaurant was a real highlight. Being dairy free was incredibly easy with plenty of vegan options available, all mouth wateringly good! A high quality dining experience, easily one of the best places we ate at during our stay in Bali. Service was top tier, all of the staff were friendly and accomodating. We also enjoyed rejuvenating massages and a facial during our stay, which we’d highly recommend! ??‍♀️ Overall the resort had been planned so well, from layout, to furnishings, to food and the small considerations that made our lives easier. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would be back in a heartbeat… thank you so much Kayu Mama family ?

A beautiful eco-boutique stay surrounded by nature and pool. The rooms are chic and cosy. The best part is the hospitality and team who are warm, kind and generous.
