TheArtemis - Perissa Hotel

The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was in a good location, within walking distance to the beach, but farther away in a quiet location. Breakfast was varied and authentic with many home made options. The host was kind, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great for adults but may be limited for picky children. No hot chocolate available.

The hotel is beautiful, breakfast was great, the pool’s very nice and my room was lovely. Maria (the host) is so helpful, friendly and warm - can’t wait to go back. Nothing.

Fantastic large room with a beautiful view. Staff friendly and attentive. Short walk to centre of Perissa Room got a little warm, air con unit not quite enough for the room size.

Pool and bar was a good place to chill after a day out. Our view from the balcony was fantastic. The room was very comfortable. Maria and her team were friendly. There were some lovely home made preserves at breakfast I would have liked to put these on toast but there was no toasting facility.

Small family run hotel with clean spacious rooms, nice decor, great pool & bar area just a short walk away from the beach and restaurants in town but far enough away for it to be peaceful. What really made our stay was the owners who were so accommodating, they had carefully considered the best room for us ahead of arrival given we were travelling with our 1 year old daughter who they were so go with and gave her lots of fuss. Nothing was too big of an ask, they really went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay including allowing late check on our final day as we had a late flight. It was comfortable and much like a home. The owners were exceptional, caring and a joy to know. Any questions or concerns were welcomed and addressed promptly. Didn’t have a dislike, I’m unsure of my misinterpretation of the room arrangement or lack there of, but we resolved by taking on a 2nd room.

The pool and rooms were incredibly clean and well cared for. Beds were really comfy and our room for a family Of 3 felt spacious. We loved this was a family run hotel and Maria and family clearly cared about their guests having an enjoyable stay. They were flexible about our check in/ out times, booked airport / ferry taxi transfers, advised about the local area and site seeing. The pool was so peaceful, large, clean and a lovely temperature- we loved it! As a vegetarian family, the pool bar and breakfast had a good selection too (even for a picky 11 yr old). It’s 5 minute walk from the beach and local bus stop where you can get a bus to major tourist spots on the island (but be warned, the cruise ships empty out to the popular towns in the north and they’re BUSY in high season!) Nothing! The breakfast was simple ingredients, with lovely home baked goods too. If you’re after a more commercial hotel breakfast this isn’t for you, but we appreciated a wide range of local foods (plus cereals and home made cake!)

The Artemis is small, quiet and absolutely spotless family run hotel. We have spent fantastic week there. Maria, her family and all the staff were extremely warm and kind to us and helpful. The hotel itself is located in very quiet part of Perissa and its location is very convenient, if you plan to explore the island. In close proximity there is lovely beach, plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. We also loved breakfast, swimming pool and great homemade food offered at the pool bar. Definitely worth any recommendation. Nothing to complain about.

As a family, we rented 2 beautiful rooms that look exactly like the pictures. When we arrived Maria welcomed us with a beautiful hospitality. Maria is a really pleasant woman and gave us a feeling That we can turn to her on any subject without hesitation, even though we didn't need it, everything was perfect and nothing was missing. The location is quiet and excellent for those who rent a car. The breakfast was good and the women working in the kitchen are really nice. The pool is very clean. Thank you Maria nothing

An amazing and beautiful place to stay with my family. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. Over all it was an amazing experience and an amazing holiday! Everything was great A bit of a trek to the shops

Everything was perfect. Maria a lovely lady. She booked everything for us and guided us through everything from getting around Perissa to touring around! Please don't be afraid to ask if you have any questions. She also helped us to book a taxi to and from the airport. John was very kind and explained the transport in Santorini very well. The whole Artemis staff in general was amazing and showed great hospitality making us feel very comfortable and safe. There is also a variety of breakfast for everyone. This hotel is a perfect location as it is close to everything you need. It is only a walk from the beach, markets and bus terminal - very handy. This area is also quiet away from busy noises. Highly recommended booking this hotel! Looking forward to going back again in the future.

Clean, modern and well finished Nothing

Amazing breakfast served with smile, great comfy pool with bar - so you can have a beer or soda next to your sunbed. Very cozy hotel with incredible owners. Kindness and hospitality was so far beyond our expectation. Maria also organize transfer from airport and help us with everything we needed. We would like to say thank you and send some love <3 I didnt find nothing.

This family owned hotel is perfect if you want to relax, sunbathe and indulge in Greek surroundings. The hotel is located in walking distance to everything you need for a vacation - the beautiful black beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel rooms are spacious and well equipped. But not least the owners and staff are super friendly, helpful and service minded. I stayed with my two kids (15 and 12) and we loved it so much that we only used the hotel facilities!
