Petra Aqua Villa

The Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The Hotel is situated in a nice peaceful area, close to restaurants, bars, bakery and a supermarket. There's a public bus stop across the road and the beach is only a few minutes away. The property is kept spotless by Isabella and the pool area is very quiet. My return flight was late in the evening and as they didn't have a reservation the next day, Isabella very kindly allowed me to remain in my room and also provided a transfer to the airport. This was really appreciated and made my last day in Santorini all the more enjoyable. Nothing.

Located in a peaceful area, the hotel was near the main beaches and close to restaurants, bakeries, etc. The light and airy room was tastefully decorated in minimalist furniture. There was a small refrigerator which was handy. The room was cleaned daily. The area by the pool was impeccably clean and so was the pool. Lots of room for parking. Cant think of anything.

Beautiful accommodation, very spacious room and comfortable bed and spacious shower. Also, nice balcony with seating area or for drying clothes after a day at beach. Private and quiet feeling but so close to beach and restaurants, bars (just a very short walk to beach). Excellent service and friendly welcome every day from the owners. Rooms and communal areas (pool area) is spotless clean and so well kept and managed every day. Pool area quiet and most times we used, it was just the two of us. We would return to stay here in a heartbeat if we were in this area again. Very relaxing and recommend for couples. We hired a car and there is space to park here too. On the day of departure, we checked our early but could leave our belongings in a safe place & returned that evening to freshen up in the bathroom provided - great service. We loved everything. There is not anything we did not like.

We stayed 12 nights and enjoyed every day; the owners are really kind and helpful; place was very clean and not crowded at all; we booked a day trip (recommended) & rented a scooter (almost brand new) at the facility for very fair price - highlight was the private sun deck with own Jacuzzi, Restaurants, bus stop, supermarkets and the beach are accessible in less than 5 min walking distance The location is very central in Perissa, sometimes the traffic caused noises

Lovely large villa with private patio area. Spotlessly clean and very new. Would have been nice to have a few utensils and a bottle opener / corkscrew.

Very clean good sized rooms with an excellent contemporary style, and a great swimming pool. 5 minutes walk or so to the beach and restaurants in one direction and even less the other way to an excellent supermarket. The owners are lovely people, and offered excellent service, arranged transfers for us and they also rent cars so that was so easy to arrange for a day. Nothing, I’ve seen reviews mention the bar next door, very handy for a drink, being noisy but we had the 2 rooms nearest the bar and didn’t find it an issue at all.

Location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and the bus stop all in easy reach (5 mins stroll). Hosts are superb, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are bright and spacious cleaned everyday with fresh towels, toilet rolls etc. They also offer competitive rates on car & bike hire - we got a brand new picanto (plenty big enough for 4 especially on these roads). Minibus to & from airport provided if required also. I think there’s only around 8 rooms so we had the pool to ourselves most days when we wanted it - usually for a hour or two after a day at the beach. Pool area is tidy with comfy loungers and cleaned daily. Thira is recommended to visit and Oia is stunning but unless it is a bucket list thing I would avoid at sunset, the crowds are horrendous with at least 4 cruise liners anchored offshore. The front of the room had double doors which opened up onto the pool which was great. We had 2 rooms next door to each other, one for me & the mrs, the other for the (grown up) kids (had 3 beds). Thanks for a fab stay Nothing really. We were ground floor and the only minor downside was the rear balcony backed onto the road (not busy) with no real view at the back but it wasn’t a biggie as before we used the front doors onto the pool.

We liked the privet pool, its was very privet and clean the room is big and comfy. The staff is great , the location is amazing near bakery, gyros place and near beach, good parking place we had fun!, . The pool color is getting off a littel bit becuse of the salty water, and the pool beds need a little clean

Lovely large terrace with plunge pool. Large modern rooms. Pool area quiet and relaxing. Some on the sunbed covers needed cleaning.

We loved our stay here. Spacious room with our own private pool and a shared pool. The hotel throughout is clean and well kept. We are very glad we found this place and we will definitely be back and won’t look anywhere else to stay as it was so perfect and couldn’t ask for anything better

Isabella made us very welcome. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything you could need. Good air-con and excellent Wifi. Pool and loungers were fab - we mostly had the whole area to ourselves. Close to fab bakery for breakfast pastries and Carrefour for water etc. Also very handy for the bus stop ( buses are a great way to get around the island and very inexpensive ) There was a bit of traffic noise but the windows are top quality so shutting them muffled the sound quite a bit.

Great location handy to get everywhere easily. The outdoor space was very good and the size of the room with high ceilings and lots of windows made it very light and airy with ample room. Friendly owner keen to help. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Small place so got the pool to ourselves. Also private terrace to sit outside. Air con was also very effective. Staff were amazing. Nothing bad at all! Could have done with a slightly better clean (skirting boards and lights) but apart from that was amazing

Absolutely loved the complex and hosts. Very welcoming and relaxing environment. We upgraded to the hot tub on the balcony and we're very satisfied with everything. Would definitely use the villa again. If I had to pick something which is quite difficult as everything was so good, I'd. Say a little more of a privacy sheild on the wall that runs along the outside of the balcony where the hot tub is as the wall is pretty low and neighbouring hotel could see us getting in and out of hot tub.

Exceptional

Nothing. The place can be ok until you have an issue. If you have a problem, make sure you run away from it because the owner will try to make your stay as bad as she could. There are thousand of places like this one there, make sure you book a different one were the owner will act actually like a host and make sure the guests feel ok in any situation. The owner of the place was terribly unstable, impolite and she really acted in a mad way with us. Basically, we had an issue with the smell of the room after two days staying there and first, after telling them the problem in a polite way, they wanted us to move to another room with a visible downgrade of the quality and space and we said No. That room also smelt really bad. That conversation and the way they offered us the room was already impolite but we didn't complaint about it. We requested a room like the one we had but just without the issues of the smell but they said that there wasn't room available without offering something else for us. So, they expected us to accept and continue there. We decided to call booking.com to mediate as the owner was not acting really stable, and every time booking.com was calling, they did not reply or pick up the phone. Finally, we decided to leave the place in the middle of our holidays to somewhere else and pay for it (with all the pain and inconveniences that it caused) because the owner told us that she didn't want us to stay anymore in "her house", in a threatening way. We requested the total refund because the place we moved was even more expensive and but they just refunded half of the booking price. We tried several times but they denied to pay a total refund. Booking.com payed a hundred of bucks more for the inconveniences but we lost our money. Worst experience ever, our holidays were totally destroyed.
