The hotel is super clean and the staff is very polite and discreet. I would highly recommend it if you are searching for a relaxing vacation in Santorini

The pool was lovely! The breakfast was not included, and we paid to have it one morning, and did not care for it.

The property offers excellent services for the price and for Santorini. Right across from the hotel, there is a bakery open 24/7 and a Carrefour store where you can find almost everything you need. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel features a beautiful, always clean swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to relax on. Although it is only a two-star hotel, towels were changed daily and the room was kept very clean. The owner arranged a rental car for us, which was extremely helpful. He also picked us up from the airport and took us back for our departure even if was 5 am in the morning. He is very kind and always ready to provide any information you may need. He even recommended a beachside restaurant where we received a discount for being guests of this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!!!! It's a must in Santorini!!! We definitely come back here!!! The shower water is slightly salty, most likely due to the area. We also found this in the restrooms of some restaurants on the island. I think this is due to the area, not the hotel faulty. The bed frame would need replacement, as it creaks quite a lot.

Perfect location, very calm and not crowded part of Santorini. Everything was great and easy to explore from. Big grocery store right across the hotel was a great extra bonus. Close to the black beach. Bed. It’s noisy when you are trying to move around and really hard to sleep on.

Amazing clean pool, cool air conditioned room, lovely staff, gorgeous balcony, peaceful place right opposite the supermarket which was perfect. Parking easy too. Such kind staff who provided everything we needed. We are so sad to leave and want to come back again soon! Thank you Petra Nera for an awesome time. -

Good location. Very quiet throughout the week. Manager/staff very helpful. Pool and area clean, very relaxing. The only point I would like to mention. When the bathroom light was switched on, the noise from the vent above the shower wasn’t good. Room 4.

The staff at Petra Nera are so friendly and accommodating, offering help on excursions, car hire and anything else you need for your stay. The location is a little outside of Perissa but it's a short 10 minute walk to many of the beach front cafes and a bus stop to Fira is next door. The bakery opposite is fantastic, selling lots of different sweet and savoury snacks as well as drinks. There's also a supermarket so you can stock up on water and snacks. We stayed in a family room with 2 beds on a mezzanine and a little balcony outside. Fresh towels and sheets are provided daily and the hotel is spotless. The pool is small but perfect size to cool down in. There's not many rooms in the hotel so it never feels crowded or too busy. The towels were a little old and worn and the rooms got very warm. There is air conditioning but it struggled to cool the upper part as well as the main part of the room. If you need complete darkness to sleep, bring an eye mask. The balcony does have (very creaky) shutters but the room does get bright through the other windows. Outside the pool could have probably done with a few more things like pool noodles but that's a minor thing and we just brought a beach ball to use instead.

My whole family stayed here for over a week and we had the best time! It's the perfect location for little kids - right across from the grocery store and the bakery and easy walking distance to the beach. The owner and his family were lovely and helped us many times. We would love to come back.
