Terra Nera Suites Santorini

The location was exceptionally beautiful. It had an amazing and quiet atmosphere and you can really tell how much passion the family that runs the place puts into everything. From the details to the reception to the restaurant, it just makes your vacation a lot easier. The hotel restaurant was the best traditional restaurant on the beach by far and the beach was very clean, with beds reserved for us every day. (bonus points for how prompt the cleaning staff was) Katarina the host helped us plan many of our trips around the island and was nothing short of amazing! (just like her family) The breakfast could be a bit better

If you’re looking for a dream vacation in Santorini, Terra Nera Suites is the real deal. From the moment you arrive to even after you leave, you are treated like a VIP and feel like family. Katerina and her father, Jorgos, along with other family and staff go out of their way to make your stay a top notch experience. Katerina works the reception and is always available to answer questions, provide suggests or to arrange transport and help with other needs. In addition to the accommodations, the family also owns and operates the restaurant on the beachfront. The food is delicious and we enjoyed chatting with Jorgos there every day. Food from the restaurant can be delivered to your room or you can eat at the restaurant or on the beach! The facility - There are six suites so it’s never very busy or overrun with people. There’s a lovely pool with some lounge beds as well as several seating areas around the common area. I appreciated the awnings around to block the sun in areas to help escape the heat. The place looks better in person than the photos. Everything is very clean and well taken care of. The rooms are well equipped with bedding, a sink, dishes, mini fridge, ironing board and iron,hair dryer (with diffuser!) and toiletries. They provide many large bottles of water as well, as the tap water on the island is not drinkable. The whole place looks like it’s straight out of a designer magazine. Each room is themed to an element from an ancient archeological site on Santorini . You’ll hear about this site from many of the locals and it is worth visiting the museum and site. In front of the suites, is the restaurant. There is a good buffer between the two, so you don’t hear restaurant noise from the room. The restaurant has a large covered area as well as beach front seats on a boardwalk type area right on the beach. There’s a small street the runs between the two areas. Only that I had to leave it.

The hotel is just stunning, from the beautiful pool area to the fabulous rooms. Everything was spotlessly clean and we loved the fact it was small and you felt part of the family as soon as you arrived. The restaurant is fabulous and the food was so wonderful. Terra nera was everything we hoped for and more! The hotel is run by a family and their attention to detail is top notch. All the staff is polite and always available for anything and everything. The hotel is right by a beautiful beach, making it a great location! The rooms are spacious and are being cleaned everyday. Look no further if you want a relaxing stay in a beautiful boutique hotel That we couldn't stay longer!

Absolutely everything! Everyone was so friendly, kind and caring. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable, everything is taken care of and every detail is perfect. The breakfast is amazing, the food at the restaurant is delicious, the pool is wonderful and the beach area is fantastic. There is even a playground for the kids! We hope to be back one day and highly recommended this gem!

Not only the location is perfect, you have access to the beach and the best restaurants on the coast, but also you have the most pleasant views and most comfortable accommodation. Think Fanasy Island with the boat beautiful people running the show. Just one thing but I can’t say it will ever happen again but what I will say is that they did everything and then some to jump on the issue and I was ever grateful for this love and care.

Now that I'm back, I'm thrilled to confirm the many positive reviews this place has received. This is a family-run business that shows great care and love in everything they do. They not only focus on providing high-quality service but also ensure you feel at home and well taken care of. My 10-year-old daughter fell in love with Yorgos and Marianna, who treated her like family. The photos don't do justice to how wonderful this place is. The restaurant food is excellent, and they offer direct services to the beach, where you have reserved front-row spots. It was an amazing experience, and we will definitely return if we ever come back to Santorini. That we dd not book for longer time!

Located on the beach, in central Perivolos, the Terra Nera Suites was in a perfect location, on a lovely Island. I was lucky enough to stay in one of their Deluxe Suites which includes a private courtyard and pool. This was right outside the main pool. The staff were amazing, including the owner Yorgos and his wife. Breakfast options were delicious, especially the Greek yogurt with Honey, as were lunch or dinner options from their restaurant. Parking was provided, and I recommend having a car so you can see more of Santorini as it's such a lovely island. I can't think of anything about Terra Nera that I didn't like. It really was a great 5 day break made better by the location, accommodation and staff.

Terra nera suites was a great place, the pool was right next to the rooms and felt like a private pool and was never crowded. It is great if you want a more chill location further away from the busy cities like Fira. The room we’re very clean and the reception and owners were friendly and always happy to help Nothing

There are many things we like about Terra Nera. First and foremost, its the staff which makes it stand out. The family who owns the place is there everyday to make sure we are well looked after. They provide good advice to us for travel tips around the island. After 7 days' stay, they made us feel so welcome that we didn't want to leave. Then the location is perfect just right off the beach next to the restaurant. I enjoyed having a morning dip in the pool right outside after an early morning jog on the beach, and also a late night dip in the pool to cool off after a day out. Because they only have a small number of suites, privacy and peace is almost guaranteed. We also like the food which is Greek/Italian focused but also with a choice of fresh seafood. We tried other restaurants on the beach and we kept coming back to them because of the quality, freshness, value and the service. We also enjoyed the architect-designed split level suite which is well-equipped and very spacious (by far the most spacious of the places we stayed on the island). There is a private roof terrace as well as table/chairs outside our suite right in front of the private pool. Also full marks for cleaniness ( a key requirement for us), with fresh towels and sheets provided every day. Breakfast was an option in our package but the choice is good. We can take the breakfast in the restaurant, outside or in our suite or on the beach (we tried them all for variety) There is nothing I can fault Terra Nera. In our view it is just a perfect relaxing place for us.
