Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toledo South - Perrysburg by IHG

Excellent location, free parking & restaurants at walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff, large room and bathroom, well cleaned. Sufficient breakfast options for a good start of the day. Unfortunately, the airconditioning was quite noisy, even when the room was right on temperature.

We didn’t arrive at the property until after 10pm, all we wanted to do was go to sleep. Our room was damp, the carpet was damp and the room smelled musty. The bedsheets were fresh and as we were so tired we just went to bed. The following morning sheets of paper I left on the table were damp, my clothes felt damp too. Never had this happen before at one of these properties. The staff were lovely when checking in, as we were leaving early in the morning we did an express check out. I did not bring this to the attention of the hotel staff. Unfortunately I am not inclined to go back to this hotel.

Place seemed brand new and was immaculate. Room was very clean and the check in was easy. Close to dining options. Stayed one night. Thank you.

Peace, me and family had a great peaceful stay as we came to visit the Toledo Zoo and African Safari. Best breakfast as well!

Driving in from 2 hours away and locating this property was a very pleasant surprise.!’ Not only was the entire check in process smooth, our room was very clean and spacious. Pool was decent and clean. Located very close to a shopping complex with a variety of shops and restaurants and even a comedy club was also a pleasant surprise. We would most definitely stay here again!.

Amazing staff. Accidentally made 2 reservations and the front desk was amazing to get this corrected.

Aaron at the desk is polite, friendly, and professional. The room had issues which were addressed but not resolved. The window was filthy and sheer shade missing. The black out shade had stains and pin holes in it. The desk chair had stains and the bathroom was constantly damp with a slippery floor. Super slick floor in the rooms entrance area where the mini fridge is too. Also I needed to check out a day early, things come up, teams lose tournaments and leave early, but the messed up policy is that 48 hours are needed. That’s unaccommodating for families.

Room was fine. However, there was 20-30 people partying, extremely loud, on the patio at 1am just below our room. We called the front desk, who refused to address the issue and the excess noise continued even though quite hours started at 11pm.

Great location. Hotels could use some updating, some leaks in ceiling and has musty smell in bathroom. As a woman, safety was a bit concerning. Late at night, even though there should be someone at the desk, both nights no one was around, If they were in the back office, didn’t even peak out as we were looking around the lobby. And you didn’t need a card to get in the building. Anyone could walk in and have access to any floor. In addition, our last night at 6:30 am the AC unit broke and woke us up it sounded like construction was being done inside our room!!! It sounded like it was going to explode. I called the front desk and could barely hear him because the noise from the AC was so loud. He said we’d have to wait for maintenance and they weren’t in. My friend went down there and there was a woman that was with the gentleman (who looked like he wanted to help but didn’t know what to do) at the desk and she was extremely rude when saying there’s nothing they can do. When she was asked if they could move us so we could get some sleep she snapped asking “Aren’t you leaving today???!!!” And again said they’re not doing anything and we just have to wait for maintenance and deal with it. Not the greatest response when people are woken out of a dead sleep by very loud noise from AC. Maintenance came and only shut it off so the noise would stop. It was around 90-100degrees so we just had to try to go back to sleep with no AC. One of the worst e service experiences from a hotel.

Aaron at the front desk was so friendly! Clean hotel over all. My mother’s room smelled a little like mildew and the shade in our room was not working properly so lowering and raising the shade was tricky but we managed.
